...whether I saw the New Year in or not. Can remember speaking to my sons just before, watching Abba & Queen in the build up, but not the fireworks or celebrations at the witching hour. Woke up, in bed, at 11am this morning, thinking it was about 7am. Got up, checked the bottle, and I'd drunk less than I would normally... had no hangover, just loss of memory. Checked my log off time on the forum, which meant I was still here at about 1am. ??? I think I need to get a grip, and cut down on the alcohol... will start tomorrow, or perhaps next week. Decisions, decisions. |

I couldn't imagine my life without the internet  It really is quite frightening arron... relying on TV to give you the latest information, when you're used to just checking yourself. Then someone pulls the TV I'm now 'googling' how to light a fire without matches, just in case. We could be soooo close  |

Have been offline for 3 days, no broadband and no phone line (not that I use that).
It would appear I'm back online (been stable for 3 hours), but still no voice line.
Haven't bothered to complain, owing to the holiday season and obvious limited staff, so thought I'd just wait it out.
Haven't known what to do with my right hand (mouse control, NOT what you're thinking) but made me wonder what we'd all do if 'someone' pulled the plug. Scary prospect.

A story filtering out from tescos where my mum works a women dropped a frozen turkey on her foot, was carted away in an ambulance and is now threatening to sue for millions for ruining christmas lol Sounds about right... probably get away with it  |

You obviously had a good time djs Not bad. Today was good too, but I was strictly on the 7 up. (or whatever it's called these days...) 9 for dinner sounds good though Raffles. Enough for some good company and help to polish off those small cabbages people like to serve. I'm usually alcohol free on Xmas Day, driving home afterwards, but this time my eldest insisted I stayed over so that I could have a few (which I did, just to be polite ) plus bacon butties this morning before I came home. |
