Thanks for the replies guys,
I have the pennies for neither its just that I don't want to waste more money than I need to buying more products than neccesary (£200 in within 3 weeks). It's all about the learning curve with vaping and I now believe I should go for top dog and be done with it. I will have to scrimp and save but feel this will be the cheapest option in the long run.
So my option should be get a penelope and wait for the proteus?

awwwww, you guys just trying to push me to a provari? if I spend that much (and I really don't want to) I want the SS and not the ma black on
would it be dodgy if I got my US cousin to get me one and send it over as a present?

Stranger things...I started with a riva kit 3 weeks ago today Up to this point all my juice has come from VapeEscape and I started with Delux and USA brand, I found I really liked the Delux and the USA to be bland and unpleasant. About a week in I got the RY4, didn't like it and stuck with the Delux. I ran out of the Delux on Saturday night (ordered more the day before but postie let me down) So Saturday evening I took the plunge with the RY4, still didn't like it. On Sunday after a few hours I think I got used to it and found it to be fine and I'm happy with it now. This sort of reminds me of the lager/bitter issue, If I start on one for the evening I can't then change to the other. I hope once the RY4 goes I can do the same with the USA mix, we shall see.

That's the chap, though there has been a rash of similar devices coming on to the market
lately e.g. Ego-customiser, Vertigo, VapoKing and probably others.
They are Chinese clones of a custom mod known as the Bulli A2-T
(reviewed here)

There are small differences in the design across the clones, but the basic idea is the same.

They use the eGo-t tank because that's what the Bulli used, at that time it was about
the only common off the shelf tank system (I believe - before my vaping days even).
The clones are clones , but some of them have adapters for the Type B tanks which
are about 2ml (eg. Vertigo and VapoKing).
There are a few threads kicking around on aaec and ukv for the various models.

I'v eonly just come around to the dea of rebuilds - at first I couldn't see the point of all
the faffing, nor did I have the confidence or knowledge to make best use of them.
However after getting into rebuilding Visions and getting fed up of the amount of waste
with disposable cartos etc, I'm beginning to think this will be the way forward.
Set up costs are higher, but in the end, your only disposable bits are wick and wire,
which cost pennies.

Santa, If you have a multimeter you could either check the continuity or test the ohms.
