Although Stage Two was held up because of my Stroke, Stage Three is now underway with most of the heavy work being done with contractors. This involved using chainsaws and root grinders. First went the 20 foot Leylandii Trees.....
Then the large and small Privet Hedging.....
The fencing added....
And finally the old rough lawn taken up and a No-Mo Lawn put down in its place.......
During this week and before the snow arrives, I am filling in some root holes with the spare Scalping's that I have left over from the back garden. That's Scalpings as in the sweepings from quarry workings and not the produce from hairy assed Redskins with big Tomahawks!

Oh well, I guess I am safe from this issue in that I have my E-cig on a lanyard and only hold it during each sook.
As to clouds of vapour, well I produce very little, being that I'm Old School and don't sub-ohm. Indeed, during a recent spell in hospital, when the Sister realised how little vapour I did produce when Vaping, it was herself that suggested that as long as I kept my Vaping "low key", I could Vape in the ward toilets during the day and "under the bed sheets" during the night!!!!!
The Daily Mail seems to have a vendetta against Vapers. So own up! Who has annoyed them?

<<< Anyway since when was nicotine a medication? >>>
If you think it is not, why do only chemists sell Nic Replacement products?

I'm glad this amuses you BobsbeerOf all the worst publicity around Vaping that I have heard in the past 5 years, this one tops the lot. To interfere with anyone's medication without their knowledge is a dastardly deed indeed. To do so with the one that we are "supposed" to trust the most, beggars belief.

My OH doesn't know she has been nic free yet. She went nic free at the same time as me and hasn't noticed. She has been reducing along with me, but I didn't want any psychological influence in her vaping. She has continued to vape but said nothing, so all is well so far for both of us. I'll tell her in a few weeks once the nic is well and truly got out of her system. I do think that slowly reducing was the key in our success, but everyone is different and everyone is on their own journey. I'm just glad I am finally free of the grip of nicotine but more importantly the smoke that used to go with it. As for taste. I think the juice has tasted better as the nicotine has reduced. Gone is the peppery back taste. Just smooth flavour.
I was shocked and horrified to read this!!!!
At best, grounds for a divorce.
At worst, a reasonable excuse for committing a dastardly crime with a large knife, in the middle of the night.

Well done BobsbeerI tried many times to go "nic-free" using various substitutes with the nic-replacement methods. They all worked while I was using them, but as soon as they run out, I was back on the fags. The only one that worked for any length of time was the nicotine replacement chewing gum. With that I managed 18 months, but even then, along came the day when nothing but a real smoke was all I craved for. Everybody is different, so, speaking for myself, I know that I would have to be "Nic-Free" for a minimum of 2 years before I would even think about considering myself free of anything.

I am really surprised that not more Vapers have picked up on what was being discussed by this committee and what the implications of that discussion lead to.
A rethink on the TDP in regard to the future of how Britain regards its attitude to Vaping?
A relaxation of the regulation banning the advertising of Vaping Products by the Media?
The promotion of Vaping by the NHS?
This House of Commons Committee has the power to have wide ranging influences in many areas that could effect the future of the Vaping Fraternity in the UK. And, once introduced in the UK, it could influence how other countries follow.

The fact that 2 of the experts were from European Countries, one from Italy and the other, I think, from Germany, meant that they had more diverse opinions and a wider picture of the vaping fraternity.

Like much of the comments that were made during the interviews, it was not in a direct answer to a question but more of an "aside" comment when they were talking about percentages that other people, namely the NHS, put on how safe they think E-cigs are over Smoking.
If I remember correctly, it was the guy sitting on the left who leans over to the right to say about the 0.5%. However the other two experts nodded in agreement at the 0.5% figure.
I am used to people stating that 95% or such an such a high figure percentage. So it took me a few minutes to realise that he was talking about a fraction of a percentage.
The fact that 6 different "experts" were called upon to answer questions about E-cigs and Vaping to a parliamentary committee and all found in favour of the said equipment, says a lot for the thinking of our governing bodies.

One of the facts that came out in this interview was when the experts were questioned about the 5% safety provision that the NHS had put on Ecigs compared to Smoking ordinary cigarettes. All 3 reckoned that the 5% should be reduced to 0.5%. In otherwords they reckoned that Ecigs were 99.5% safer than Cigarettes,
They also reckon that the way Britain treats Vaping in the future will have a knock on effect on other countries.

Have got used to the usual clap trap we hear from the Media, this committee is a breath of fresh air in an otherwise complicated world.
Some of their facts blow the usual statistics out of the water.
If future e-cigs use is adopted by the NHS and Government alike, Vaping has a happy future indeed.
