Any idea about how to get it back to zero?

True in principle GunJack, but my vamo shouldn't be showing 10 watts unless it has the capacity to deliver the current to achieve that, give or take some inefficiency in the electronics.

Point is that it is the power that is the capacity to do work, the work in this case should be just boiling the juice, I used to vape happily at 6 watts, now I need 10, so 4 watts is going somewhere else. My guess was still boiling juice, and for some reason the vapour isn't coming through. But if VapingBad is right then it's heating the coil more, but the extra heat isn't boiling the juice because the contact between the coil & wick is less efficient than with cotton.

I'm off to try that wicking method, maybe we'll find out.

Somebody kindly gave me some rayon to try at the London meet, so I used it in the next build on my kayfun. 

Compared to the cotton wool, it seems to need nearly twice the power and also I'm getting leaking through the air hole (I got a tiny bit with cotton, but this is much worse).

I also reduced the resistance a fair bit on this build, but I don't see that that should be doing it. Unless of course the vamo is lying about the power value.

Any thoughts?

Glad it worked. For those without workshops PTFE tape will often solve the problem.

A bit too fat for me
