chrissMy best guess is that it needs more steeping. If that failed I'd try messing about with the power, and if that failed I'd think about mixing some smoother flavour in or trying a different supplier.

As you said: Since I do like the small size of cig-like e-cig I thought I'd point out that the kit you list is good (I use it myself for out & about), but a lot bigger than a cigarette - it's about 15cm long by 1.5 cm diameter. The stuff recommended by decoy is bigger still

katiekooIt doesn't sound as if you have much of a nicotine habit at present, and if you haven't got one, you don't really want to acquire one. I'd try sticking to the 6mg if it is enough to stop you cadging fags. Lower nicotine means less throat hit, but if that is a problem there are other ways of solving it.

bonnieboyIt's not clear that nicotine does you damage, but if you are chain vaping you may need to drink a lot of something to avoid getting the headaches (tea? beer?), and it might keep you awake at night. You could probably reduce the nic without noticing too much.

It is a Samsung Li-Ion battery ICR18650-22F 3,7V, 2200mAh bought from AmazonIts only about a week old so yeah was in perfect condition Wow an unprotected Li-Ion ICR. Your lucky you got it to stop shorting in time. This is why I say using ICR unprotected batteries is dangerous. They can short, and this one has. Please, use an IMR battery when you get a new one, If they short they vent liquid. ICR's will explode violently.
I agree. There's a case for using unprotected batteries in mech mods if you are someone with tech knowledge and proper gear including a multimeter and you have serious coiling ambitions. Normal users should use protected batteries (or an electronic mod).

Crossed post, but same idea.
You can check the tank with a multimeter or electronic mod.
I'd have thought that if you aren't building your own coils you'd be better off with an electronic mod anyway.

I'd have thought a short in the tank might do that, and I personally wouldn't use the battery again - not in a mech mod, anyway.

I put 'yes', but I'm kind of the opposite to the third option - I vape around kids when outside, but not inside in a room with kids in it. It's more about the kids' parents than the kids themselves - it won't do the kids any harm (really, you can check the science if you want), but their parents might object, and in the case of my grandkids I know that they would.
I figure that in the open air the vapour is obviously sufficiently diluted to be harmless.
I'm too old & ugly for anything I do to be thought of as cool.

Then again, our MPs are pretty low paid compared to the French or the US Congressmen for instance. I know a couple of MPs and both took a drop in income to do the job. Maybe if they got paid more we'd get better ones.
MEPs on the other hand get a vast salary for doing f**k all.

A good thing about the battery tubes with LCD readouts is they tell you how much charge you have left in the battery. I wouldn't worry about Vamo (or most other mods) being fiddly working out how to adjust. If you don't get decent instructions with it just ask. They are pretty intuitive once you know what the options are.

That 2600 mah spinner is nearly vamo-sized. Awfully big & heavy for a pocket. You could keep that (or a vamo) at home and get another 1300 spinner for out and about.
If you like the top coil then why get bottom coil? Iclear 30 at home on the 2600, iclear 16s out and about.

I put in a request for price for 10. It would be a bit of a gamble, nobody seems to have tried one yet. Supplier is given as Shenzhen Comcig Technology Co - anyone know anything about them?
