Not since I started four months ago, despite having had several cartons of Marlboro in the house I was selling for a mate.
In retrospect, I don't think I really ever liked the taste of fags, and now I have the option of vaping so many pleasant flavours I don't have any urge whatsoever to smoke.
I did, however, enjoy the act of smoking, and consider myself fortunate that I've finally discovered something that gives me all the things about smoking I enjoyed, the hand actions, the deep inhales, the exhalation of the smoke, as well as the great flavours so it is actually better than smoking, as well as being much healthier, so I have no reason to smoke again.

Also make sure that you hold the - button down for approx 10 seconds until no2 shows on the display, as this will then put it into RMS mode, something I only discovered last night, although I've only had it a day so I'm prepared to let myself off. Explanation: ukvapers.org/Thread-VamoThe Vamo runs in both V(avg) mode and V(rms) mode. (Average and Root Mean Square). Basically, it's the way the output voltage is approximated using PWM (pulse width modulation). To put it simply, V(avg) mode delivers a vape which is way more powerful than it supposed to be, especially at low voltages. A 3V setting in V(avg) mode is more like 4.3V in reality. V(rms) mode gives a more accurate output. To change the mode (ALWAYS run it in V(rms) mode) hold down either the plus (+) or minus (-) key for at least 10 seconds until either "NO1" or "NO2" is shown on the display. The one you want is "NO2".

I bought one of these, body only, from 2Smok a couple of months ago as they were selling them for £15 and it was too good a price to miss.
The build quality is crap and I wasn't expecting otherwise, but in fairness it has performed well with a decent amount of usage.
Maybe I've been lucky, or Ratty's been unlucky, but if they are knowingly selling sub-standard goods then they should be advertising them as such. On the other hand, if this was just one dodgy one in the batch then the vendor should be prepared to listen to customers and deal with any issues accordingly, as I'm sure the vast majority of vendors who advertise on the board would.
I can understand what Izan is saying, the phrase "I don't have enough money to buy cheap" comes to mind, and if mine gave up the ghost tomorrow after a couple of months I'd almost certainly write it off, but a couple of weeks is just plain shoddy.

NO not been named yet, I'm not sure if there's rules on this kind of thing? £30 is a lot of money to some people, but that's not the point - you expect products you buy to last at least a month! I will do Paypal dispute Moon but have given them one last chance, if nothing by the time I get up tomorrow then Paypal it is! Go for it, as regardless of the price and quality, your "junk" should last at least six months under UK law, unless you've been chucking it around. No idea how that translates across the continent, but as I said you have nothing to lose and a few weeks of use is pretty pathetic.

Right, finally I've heard back from them after threatening a paypal dispute - their answer? It's obviously through misuse and therefore they can do nothing about it! *fuming* Go with the Paypal dispute as they almost always give the benefit to the buyer, and you have nothing to lose. Sounds like shabby treatment, though, maybe you could invite them to state their case on the forum as they're 'active' members, or at least they are most Friday evenings.

Too a large extent, we're guinea pigs Moonie, as vaping hasn't been around long enough for any long term clinical studies to be undertaken into the deterimental effects inhaling the substances we do, may have. All any of us can do is make a decision given the data there is currently out there. On a completely personal level, after 36years chugging away on 40/50 cigarettes a day, I do use flavours that contain some of the cautionary ingredients, although never anything oil based . . . because I enjoy them as I did smoking. That's not to say I'm blase about the risks, because I'm not . . . but it's one of the increasingly few choices I seem to be able to make for myself thesedays. So I'm sparing in my usage of them. Other Vapers may want to avoid said ingredients with a barge pole, that's their choice to make of course. We're very much guinea pigs, but as you say we can make our own decisions. I'd rather be totally safe, but won't know whether I am or not for a good few years, but I do know that I'm a damn sight safer than when I was smoking, even if I do vape the odd 'dodgy' flavour.

I've got five of the flavours on the list, either in my cupboard or on order, which dismays me a little. However, this whole "safe to vape" thing is very ambiguous, as Frogster says. Who says so? Who's done the studies? Why can't we vape oil-based flavours if it's ok to mix them with aromatherapy oils and heat them in burners for making our houses smell nice as surely we're still inhaling them? (obviously I don't personally do this as I'm a bloke and would rather my house smelt of curry and pizza) Obviously I'm not going to vape a flavour that's been mixed with anything that's been proven to be detrimental to my health, but with the lack of any long-term studies do we know that inhaling PG won't be proven to be a dangerous pursuit over a prolonged period of time? No conclusive evidence is available, as this is still very much in its infancy, so as with everything else in grown-up world, each individual is responsible for his/her own decisions as to what is safe or not. I'll vape the flavours I've purchased as I don't make cupcakes and don't want to waste them, and can't see that they'll do me any more harm than a packet of Marlboro will. I will, however, look for PG-based flavours in future, as I neglected to do this with my last orders, at least until we're told that PG shouldn't be inhaled.

Good man, it took me bloody days to make one which didn't taste of burning wire.
By the by, Pedro says thanks to whoever gave him the Santa hat.

I've recently bought some powdered malic acid, which I've suspended in PG.
Add a few drops to your liquid for a bit (or a lot) of sourness.
Don't use it in plastic tanks as it'll crack them.

This is the list someone has posted on ECF of suggested FA mixing concentrations on some of their flavourings . . . needless to say, of the ones that I've tried from that list, it's utter poppycock. FA I also find, although pleasant . . . very weak. Barley Malt 2% Beer 5% Butterscotch 3% Caramel 2% Catalan Cream 5% Cherry Black 4% Chocolate 2% Cinnamon Ceylon 5% Cocoa 5% Coconut 10% Coffee Espresso 2% Cookie 10% Green Tea 3% Hazelnut Toasted 2% Irish Cream 3% Licorice flavor 4% Maple Syrup 2% Nut Mix 3% Oba Oba 10% Peppermint 5% Strawberry 2% Tiramisu 4% Torrone 4% Vanilla Bourbon 5% Vanilla Classic 2% Vanilla Tahity 10% Vienna Cream 10% Cheers Perps. Those percentages make me laugh, as when I first started mixing I used 'suggested' percentages like 5% and I might as well have added water for the effect they had on juice flavour. Like you, I don't do subtle 'hints of' flavours and I want them in my face shouting what they are or what's the point?

Moon, I'm trying to resist for the sake of my bank balance. There are other things I want to buy (a mixing kit for starters), but if I get these before Xmas then nobody but me will have any pressies! Join the club. When I started, my sister told me it would cost me about £4 a week in juice, and those would be my only outgoings. She's a bloody liar.

Your could also try the FA Tutti Fruiti. It is suggested that it is mixed around 5%, which is complete rubbish. I found 20% to be more realistic. Nice vape however Ta, might well give that a go.

Have you tried it? I got some from LF a couple of months ago and found it really weak. What percentage did you mix at Moon? On the whole, with some exceptions, I find TPA flavours to be on the weak side, so always mix at least 20%. I worked my way up. Started at 10% but finished at 30% and even then found it weak. My first go at mixing was all with TPA from LF and I'd agree that all of those that I tried were weak, but the TF as well as the coconut were especially so. The lime wasn't up to much either.
