Cool thought it could just be a case of adapting the wiring, but as this is my 1st time building and e-cig, I thought best to check. I'm much more used to computer boards and radios, so this is something I'm looking forward to it's been too long since I fired up my soldering iron

that sucks, try changing the atty head next time you clean it out, and see if that makes a difference, if you have got a defective wick, that should fix it with some luck (especially if you use a 2.8 as it uses a thicker wick than the 2.4 and 1.8)

I like that idea, but don't pitch it as quitting, that is the key, it's a healthier alternative, which will save bags of cash;)
If you sell it as a way to quit many won't be able to deal with it. I haven't quit, I still have my nicotine addiction, and plan to continue feeding it by vaping rather than smoking

Hi Dicky, and welcome, I opted for the mini vivi nova for my riva, and with the plinth it's a much better fit and look than the standard vivi nova, as for the weight, that will be as much the extra juice as the tank I use CE2 clearos with my kit too, but hate not having a drip tip on them, and running out of juice so quick. I use my mini nova as my main tank, but tend to carry 3 x i3 CE2 clearos with different flavours in case I fancy something different while out or at work

I started on tobaccos, and now pretty much only vape fruits and sweets

I agree with Cambo, I'm getting 1.5 - 2 days out of mine, but always carry a spare charged battery with me as a backup, and the USB charger is great, take a couple of hours to fully recharge a battery, so you can do it at work, at home, in the car etc

I tried everything, I was on the champix trial, I've used patched, inhalators, gum, lozenges, you name it, I've tried it. E-cigs have worked great for me, non of the side effects of quitting, but all the health benefits. I too have spent long periods off the fags just to fall back to them, but with this, if I get stressed I just go for a vape, rather than smoke, and get all the nicotine I need, the throat hit I need, and everything else you would associate with smoking, I'm just not killing myself with every puff;) I have smoked 20 a day for over 20 years (I started aged 12), and I too have nothing in the way of will power, but within 2 days of only using an e-cig, it felt natural, and I could breath better. I live in a house with 3 others who smoke, My mother in law has smoked all her life, but is now also on e-cigs, again she has tried it all, including hypnosis, but she needed what nothing else would give... the sensation of smoking, which is what an e-cig will give. I don't see myself as quitting smoking, I still get the nicotine, I've just moved from an old outdated technology to get my hit, to a new modern one So I haven't quit, I just swapped to a healthier option to feed my habit, and trust me, this option is a lot more fun

I used to use skycig, had that for about a month as my only e-cig, then got a Riva 1100 kits just over a week ago, my skycig only now gets used when I'm out and about, I love the riva, and it's the only thing I use at home or work.
