Take two batteries into the shower? Not me. I just want to vape and go. So I use Vital Bassoon "Vape and Go". 3.7volts plus 1100mah in one battery. Vital Bassoon "Vape and Go" leaves my lungs clean, fully functional and looking terrific."
[Not sure about that last bit but it's cured me dandruff]

The only reasons I don't smoke are health, money and brown ceilings.
I still prefer the taste, smell (before it goes stale, anyway) and hit of combusted tobacco. If I get a whiff of someone smoking in the street I struggle to stop myself from diving into the nearest newsagent!

After I started vaping I was stuck on 2-3 smokes a day for about a month. What made the difference was that I got some 24mg juice and when I was desperate for a fag I vaped hard on that until the craving went away. Sometimes I could do so much nic that way that I ended up with a ringing in my ears, but it did the job.
I also want to cut my dependance on nicotine and now mostly vape at 10mg only reaching for higher nic occasionally - but it's no longer a daily need. In fact it seems increasingly to be a response to stress as much as anything.
I reasoned that most of my 30 a day were a behavioural habit and only some were specifically answering the call of the nicotine.

In fairness to Vapology I should qualify what I posted earlier. I realised that I was getting quite a bad burned flavour with the Flue Cured Tobacco flavour - changed the atty head and it's fine (told you I was no expert ). But the Fire Cured is still my favourite of the four.

Hi all
As I've said previously - I started with Skycigs and moved to ego-t on the ecigwizard offer (am I boring you yet?). I'm not having much success getting more batteries having made a real noob mistake ordering them from a website which was just a UK portal for a seller registered in Greece. I've now ordered one from a reputable UK vendor but it hasn't arrived yet so I've still only got the one which came with the starter kit.
So my question is this: am I safe to use the mains - usb adapter which came with the Skycig kit? The adapter plug's output is DC 5V/0.5A and the charger is DC 5V input. I'm presuming this means that they are compatible but with no backup I want to be absolutely sure.
It'd be quite nice not to have to power up my PC every time I need to re-charge.

Hi jeff . Seems a familiar route into vaping - like you and others I also started with Skycigs and changed to the ecigwizard kit. Luckily (in an "every cloud has a silver lining" sort of way) I'm out of work and a bit strapped atm. Consequently, I've spent a lot of time looking longingly at shiny kit and different juices but haven't been able to overspend. For the moment I'm sticking with the ego-t (which does me fine) and only ordering juices on a replacement basis; allowing for steeping time. Congrats on stopping smoking completely - it took me the best part of six weeks before I could finally get off the last 2 or 3 a day and it's still surprisingly tough at times.

The Fire Cured is my favourite of the four. Good strong flavour but smooth. The Flue Cured is very similar in flavour but a bit rough for my taste. I can't remember what the Sun Cured was like off hand so I guess not memorable is the best I can suggest.
It also depends on what kit you're using I think (I'm no expert as I've not been vaping long). The Air Cured was good when I was using it to recharge Skycig carts but was lacking in flavour when I switched to an Ego-T with a standard resistance clearo. I've still got some left and I must remember to try it with the 2.4 resistance ones I've got now.

Congratulation Graham . My uncle stopped dead from a 60 a day habit after he was diagnosed with emphysema. The disease got him in the end, but not until he was in his mid 80s so it probably gave him something like 25 years more. I also remember Denis Norden saying he stopped dead from 60 a day when he realised that he'd filled his car's ashtray in the time he'd been stuck at traffic lights in London. I've never gone beyond 30 a day and I never understood how they could just stop dead like that.

I've noticed steve386's banner isn't displaying properly in anyone's sig since last night. I'm getting just a small stripe of the top portion in firefox so I just tested out IE and it doesn't display at all there - just the old red X.
Hope this is some help.

Hi Sancerre
I've been using Skycigs about a month and I've had a couple of batteries go that route. All I can say is I tried the usual suggestions but never managed to make either of them work again.
More worryingly, one of them developed the fault when it was on charge and things got quite hot - I was lucky it didn't damage the charger which would have been a lot more expensive. So it may be worth making sure you unscrew them as soon as the charged indicator starts flashing.

Thanks for that guys (especially macca) - seems to have solved the problem. And no, I didn't have to wait but I'm trying to get into a routine of just doing maintenance stuff last thing at night as it pretty much took over all my spare time when I started buying juice.
