Hi everyone, So got a drip tip with my new riva and decided to give it a go a couple of nights ago.....with no success whatsoever...just kept getting mouthfuls of juice!! Had to give up as mouth was going funny!  My juices are in plastic bottles and it looked like the nozzles were too big to go into the tip and the juice was just sitting inside it?? So...how do you do it?!?!?!? |

I started on the e-cig a week ago and am still on the analogues but have cut them down by half....and I think thats a miracle!!!

So, been vaping since Tuesday and after noticing that awful sweet/plastic taste, either I've got used to it or its gone!! Have to admit I'm not off the analogues completely but am currently on about half the amount I would usually smoke per day and I'm happy  ...intention is to keep cutting down on the analogues.. Not sure what exactly is keeping me on them, I get a lovely hit from the riva...I just can't seem to satisfy the craving unless I'm continuouly vaping one after the other.... James' flavours are lovely and I've converted a friend to it who has ordered the same kit and some flavours from James (thanks for the little extra too James....much appreciated  Thankies to everyone for their help! |

I had exactly the same response from them. To be honest, I only ordered the riva over the tornado as it contained the LR... :-(

No offence, but I wouldn't really suggest a juice like vanilla if your just starting out. I think you would've been better off going for one of James' tobacco juices which arn't as sickly sweet, or even his grape. Depending on whether your juice is pg or vg, you could always "water" it down with flavourless pg or vg juice. This will dilute the taste however it will also dilute nicotine content too. I think vg can be bought in Boots or supermarket. The others can confirm this See your point, but I only used the vanilla in 1 atty....the spare atty tastes exactly the same!! I have got some of james' tobacco flavours which I only used in the spare atty.... Tried direct dripping with a drip tip to see if that made any difference and just got a mouthful of juice so gave up on that one for the time being!! |

Well thats strange Lisa...I'm getting plumes of vapour!! I mean loads of the stuff with both atty's  In fact, after watching vids etc of ppl doing long controlled vapes, I nearly choked doing that and had to reduce the length of puff to almost that of a normal cig!! But I definitely can't find an LR on either of them. Does yours have any taste you weren't expecting? Of can you just taste the tobacco/flavour? Well done to you tho!! |

Had 10 blank carts came with the riva - have used a different cart for each liquid and have blown atty out when changing....so filling didn't come into contact with the vanilla....

Well done Lisa....I'm not doing so well as just can't get rid of the sweet plasticy taste....have had 3 analogues since this morning...(ok better than would have normally but still am disappointed).
Did you get your riva from LF?? As I also can't find my LR atty!

Thanks guys - I blew both ends of the atty and no primer fluid came out...
I put 10 drops in the bottom of cart, then replaced filler and added another 2 or 3 drops...tried doing less and there was no vape...I did put a paper towel over the top to see if any juice was on it and therefore I'd over filled it, but it seemed ok.
Have just put James' cherry in and that does taste a little better....had a whiff of the atty and all I could smell was the LF vanilla (which to be honest, was not good!!)
On the plus side...I'm now getting loads and loads of vape and haven't had a cig since 5:30pm....4 1/2 hours without a fag is an absolute record for me!! I don't feel the need for one either...so I'm really hoping I can get the teething troubles sorted...big test for me will be first thing in the morning!

Hi guys
So my Riva came today....and everything tastes...well...plasticy
Also, put LF's vanilla in first and found that really sweet (and plasticy) so changed cartridge and put L&B in and that tastes...well sweet like the vanilla and plasticy....
Have blown the atty out....I think.....wasn't quite sure which way to blow
Can someone please help a stuck newbie???

So, ordered the Riva 510 kit from LF and some juices from James today... can't wait til they get here Will let you all know how I get on with my first 'real' ecig!!! |
