Why do they cost so much? Until you've fondled handled one it's hard to imagine the feeling of pure quality, engineering excellence and vaping consistency. The weight, the finish, the silky smoothness of the threads. The fact that every single draw is just like the last, whether you have a brand new battery or one that is dying. The feeling that after the apocalypse all that will be left is cockroaches and Provaris. I'll stop there otherwise I'll be here all day I have similar views with my Titanide. Part of the reason for getting it was knowing that as a mech mod (albeit very expensive one) when the bans and restrictions hit us, I will always have something to use that will work. I also just love the feel of quality and silky smooth threading.

D day today!! We have to go sign the tenancy and pick up the keys at 3pm. Ideally it would have been better for us if we could do that this morning so we can start shifting boxes and smaller items, but it is what it is. Surprisingly, I am pretty calm. My little "helper" rang up before going to school to make sure she definitely IS going to be taken to Costa Coffee for a babychino and chocolate brownie after "helping" Nemesis, Kayfun, Titanide and plenty of juice and batteries in handbag. I know I should be hassling SKy and BT again but I really can't be bothered yet.

As the saying goes BrenD 'You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink' People think they know best, I have several friends who duel fuel. They buy cheap batteries and juice on E*ay and wonder why they are still smoking and it costs them more money for the pleasure. The only person I have managed to convert successfully asked me loads of questions tried my kit out, he spent about an hour trying different juices. The session ended with him buying an SVD and before that even arrived he had bought an MVP. 2nd gen ecigs are still relatively new and with the big cig-a-like companies having so much money behind them for advertising it will still take a while for people to change their views. Horses and water were the first thing that jumped into my head Zelda. I have stopped trying to help smokers I know, which now I think about it, is very few. I now wait for people to ask me about my device. At least then i know they are genuinely interested.

Never mind about the price .You don't want to miss all the junk mail addressed to you do you That is a very good point Ron. Just think, I will be paying to receive it too! Still can't find an alternative to RM. I've given up. I will have to take the chance and hope I don't miss out on a fortune!

As postmodern said per surname Need your mail delivered quickly to your new home? Our Redirection service allows you to redirect to any UK or overseas address for 3, 6, or 12 months from £24.99 for each last name. Additional benefits: - Get great home mover offers - Reduce your risk of ID fraud Before you start your application make sure you have a credit or debit card registered at your old address. You will also need the names and dates of birth of everyone who wants their mail redirected, and the full address and postcode of your old and new addresses. Used to be free for 6 months bandits!!!! Oh I see. I did misread it. But even so, like you say, it used to be free!. Just another instance of lining the shareholders pockets by fleecing those who can I'll afford it. It wouldn't be so bad if you could justify it in some complicated process, but it's not!

Royal Mail redirection service for consumers (price based on last name): Up to 3 months £24.99 Up to 6 months £34.99 Up to 12 months £54.99 For businesses it's a lot more (£120 -£350!) Might it be cheaper for you to send notification of your change of address to everyone that you might be expecting mail from? It said that the price was per person not per surname. Unless I read it wrong. You are right. I will definitely be making sure I don't miss anyone out. I just worry I might have a long lost relative who has left me millions in their will and I won't get the letter!

I decided to make a separate thread instead of just posting it on the moving house thread, as those who are not moving probably won't read in there.
I discover to my shock and horror yesterday, that Royal Mail (the modern day Dick Turpins!) want to charge a minimum price of £25 per person to redirect mail!! Does anyone know of an alternative to using them? I have done a google search but it seems it's only businesses that are catered for and not private residents. When I lived in Sydney, I was a post lady. I know EXACTLY what redirected mail involves as their system is based on ours. All that is done is putting your mail in a different pigeon hole! Hardly warrants that kind of price. What a nerve!

Sounds stressful Blownupdolly It's amazing how often this 'non existent' address thing crops up. We had huge problems when work moved premises a couple of years ago. We still don't know which is the right postcode out of 3 ??? My daughter a few years back stayed in a flat for a year and never ever paid any electricity as she couldn't find out who was supplying her I'd swap your daughters issue with mine any time! how come things like that don't happen to me? The really stupid thing about our problem is that the building has been there since the 80s, and even though it has all been reconfigured and refurbished, our door number has always been there and hasn't changed in position within the building. It took me 15mins to get it through to the baboon at Sky, that there must already be a live phone connection to the building as I had just rang the warden there who answered the phone in the office!!

I'm still feeling in limbo, still not had the written acceptance of our offer and Mr K keeps being pessimistic about it That must be a big worry you don't need on top of everything else. It seems I am not the only one married to a worry guts As for our Sky/phone/broadband troubles. Mr D has finally lost his temper with them (that is a very rare occurrence) we decided to go with Sky for everything to save faffing about. Really wish we hadn't now. They can't decide between themselves and BT whether or not we need a new phone line installation or not . So we have the passing the buck scenario right now. Each blaming the other. I had practically reduced myself to tears speaking to various inept, couldn't care less kids that they employ. Mr D has now phoned and told them that because I am disabled and in need of the phone for my carer alarm system, if they don't pull their finger out and have it sorted by Monday he is contacting the media and the relevant ombudsman. I'm that mentally worn out with them all I feel like going to bed.

Ooooh how exciting! I love it when I get a new gadget. Don't understand them. Invariably someone has to help me set it up, but I just love looking and feeling them. Yes, I'm a saddo.

Make a list of absolutely everyone you need to contact to notify them of your change of address, even down to store loyalty cards . . . and work your way methodically and religiously through it. Do as much as you can in advance . . . also take the opportunity to find if there are better deals available to you on your utility services/insurances. It's something many of us tend to put off, thinking it's ' easier ' to stay with our current providers. It's something I found hugely time consuming when I moved recently and when you're in your new home, they're jobs that you can do without with the unpacking/settling in that you'd far rather be spending precious time on. It sounds really basic, but a list helps focus your mind and it's rather satisfying being able to cross things off as you've done them. Good luck to everyone on the move. Doing all this stuff is driving me insane. Being as I am not much help with physical stuff I am responsible for all of this stuff. Mr D is somewhat peeved as my support worker came round yesterday and has offered to come over next Wednesday and run through it all with me. He told her that wasn't fair and she should also come over and help him shift the furniture I won't repeat the reply she gave him.

Slightly off track here but I have to say right now, I wish I was moving home. I live in a very quiet neighbourhood, however, a new mini estate has been built on an allotment area at the back of my home. The people have moved in 11 social housing and 11 private and 5 flats. The house directly behind me is now occupied. Today the children, bless em, were screaming and shouting ( under school age) and the parents were screaming at the children and the bliddy dog was barking it's head off, it was like bedlam. Gone are the quiet sunny days in the garden, my afternoon naps and letting my little dog out to sun himself in the garden. I want to move now, I will even take the 1 bedroomed 'rabbit hutch' they call a bungalow than stay here. Hi Phoenix Doesn't sound much fun where you are now. You have my sympathy. One of my biggest fears when we were waiting to be allocated a place was being offered somewhere on a troublesome estate, or somewhere very rough. Thankfully, our new place is at the bottom of a privately owned residential street with the woods and riverbank at the end. I am pretty certain it will be very quiet. Being a cul de sac, there isn't much car traffic either.

Ah cheers Karma! Will get OH to ring them during his lunch break, just in case. Worth a try. The house we're buying has a back boiler so I was trying to find out if we could get any help to change it to a combi another tipMy DD and her hubby just moved last week. Before they moved she recommended her hubby to Sky at the new address and got £100 Tesco voucher, he then accepted Sky and got another £100 Tesco voucher, then they cancelled it at the old address Cheeky gits must have reduced it as my daughter recommended me and we are only getting £75 each!
