Yes, I know you're out there. If you have found anything to interest you, you will find so much more if you register as a member. Not just vaping, but a caring community that will try to help you in all of your life. This is not just a vaping forum... it is so much more... it is MY online family. and I want it to be yours. And NO... this is not a recruitment campaign... I just want you to experience what I have gained from my last two years of being here. So true Raff. It is much more than vaping. I have found new friends and been helped by people I haven't even met in real life. From striker42 giving me a Kayfun clear tank and refusing to even accept the postage cost. fiddles giving me a wheelchair ramp last year, which also ended up helping at VF. And recently, seniorphil offering to help me move home and also stood up to Boris on LBC radio on my behalf! There are more but I'd be typing all afternoon. beautycat becoming my coffee and chat friend and then there's Julie! What can I say? A bundle of fun and a great meet up partner. Until I started typing this post, I didn't realise just how much the people on here had become part of my life. Big hugs to all of you

I'm just looking forward to catching up with everyone I met last year, and, meeting a whole load more online friends who will then become real life friends.

It's the calm before the storm Karma. We leave this house June 14 and fly to America June 16. That's about 10 weeks away. I'm expecting chaos to reign in the last four... Yep, it will be chaos newdawn. We have moved countries four times, but it doesn't matter how much experience you have there's always going we to be hiccups and problems along the way. The thing I hate most about moving countries is having to wait sewn for all your household appliances and furniture to arrive. It takes 2mths to Australia. We learnt our lesson after the first move and decided the next time to sell off most stuff except sentimental stuff and start again afresh in the new country. It doesn't cost too much more replacing things if you sell old stuff off, take less stuff costing less in removal fees and then shopping cleverly and wisely buying new, and good secondhand on eBay.

Hi all
Just a quickie to let you know we are nearly all moved in and slept our first night there last night. It was so peaceful. Mr D reckons he heard a woodpecker very early this morning. Will have to keep an ear out for him.
Until we sort our internet out I won't be online as much as usual. I am on my iPad at the old house right now. We have been cleaning it up.

I moved in February and am glad it's into our forever house as I never want to go through it again. My top tip, start the clear out and preparation early. Ours was rushed and we got 11 days notice before the move date, panic stations is an understatement. We are in the very same position. Got 10 days notice to move! Today is the big bulky stuff to be moved with the van man. I wonder what the world record is for the most domestic disputes in one day? We must be up there and its not even lunchtime yet i am sat in the car on our driveway like a two yr old. Why are men so disorganised? I feel like i am his mother this morning. Do i really have to spell out every single thing that has to be done and state the correct order? I dont want to go back in. Its like a nuclear bombs gone off!

Well,it's been a mixed day. Positives are, we have the keys and my little six yr old granddaughter is unpacker extraordinaire! She ripped through six packing boxes and put everything where I told her to. If anyone wants to hire her services, it will cost you a crunchier ice cream lolly and a date at Costa coffee Another positive. Minky has left this evening to go to her new home with my support worker. I am so pleased it was her that took her. Biiiiiig negative. SKY.... after four days and endless phone calls, this evenings one being over an hour, they still haven't resolved the issues in putting a phone in our place. I've given up.

£90.00 you could get a top of the range blow up doll for that And she won't let you down like the England footy team Not sure that Blownupdolly would agree with that valuation Mind you, she won't be looking at the moment as she'll be busy getting copies of her new home keys done so that she can still get in even if she's evicted! LOL...funnily enough, I have been given that many keys for various things at this new place, I will need more than £90 to make copies!

One brave lady... good for her. I'm more concerned about the photographer going around taking pictures of women's legs! Raff... You do realise she is wearing a court punishment tag round her ankle?

Awwwww what a shame. If I wasn't moving home this weekend I would love to go there. Are they open in the evenings Mart? They are open in the evening. There is about half a flight of stairs up to the seating area. *sigh* same old same old. Thanks for letting me know Phil.

Thanks Julie I have just uttered a huge sigh of relief. I told mt support worker about our cat that got returned and how upset I was. She has just emailed me and said that if we don't find a home by Monday she is going to have her herself!! I couldn't wish for a better home as this lady has been a godsend to me and I trust her more than anyone. I am going to be naughty and just tell her I didn't find anyone else! She told me her and her husband had been talking of taking on a rescue cat and at least she knows Minkys history. One less stress!! Phewwwww
