All my ego style battery's came almost fully charged.

I use the cheap USB 510 style chargers (Edit - the same as all the ones you or others have linked). They are rated at 420ma, all PC USB port's can supply 0.5Amps, so plugging them into a wall mounted point wouldn't make them charge faster.

As a very rough guide indeed, a 1000Mah battery would take 1000 / 420 = 2.3 hours to fully charge on one of those.

I find the carto's mute the flavour more than the clearo's.

I am probably a bit weird, but I find changing voltage / low ohm heads don't change the taste much - but make a big difference to throat hit / vapour production.

Undoubtedly the thing you are missing is Vanilla Custard Oodles and oodles of Vanilla Custard Flavour E-Juice

The 510 connection isn't the best design in the world.

Nothing wrong with the outer screw connection, but the centre pin is a finger connector - they terminals just push against each other, much like a +ve battery connection.

This would be fine if one of the posts was sprung (ie like a -ve battery connection), but they aren't. Both the battery and atty centre pins are fitted with a rubber (or silicon) grommet which primary purpose is to insulate against the outer connection.

There is little tolerance in the rubber for either centre pin being too long / short. If either is too long, one of the grommets becomes stressed and can fail - either immediately or over time.

Hence we all get to learn not too tighten anything up too tight, and the use of a pair of tweezers to temporarily fix the problem.

Anyway, enough waffle over electrical connections.

I am useless at steeping.

I have nearly finished my first batch - and I only made it 4 days ago - oops.

The first day / two of steeping did make a huge difference, though the returns seem to diminish after that.

I think a week could be the sweet spot if you are as impatient like me.

Just been to the docs as I have an infection, and he said

I thought for a few seconds and answered ..... Ex Smoker - which felt wrong. I thought briefly about mentioning E-Cigs and decided not to.

I put down my giving up date as the date I last had an analogue (27th October).

I'm guessing some others have faced this question from their GP, I wonder what you said / would say ?

I have attempted the PVC recipe, but got confused with the maths on getting the nicotine level correct

I was aiming at 22mg Nic, 50/50Pg, VG but couldn't work out all the maths, so ended up doing

4ml VG Based Nicotine (54mg)
2.5ml PG
3ml CVC
10 drops TPA French Vanilla Delux
2 drops sweetener

Seems to smell good anyhow, just waiting for it to steep now.
