Nah, it looks good pal.
All by hand or did you throw it in a chuck and spin it up?

Polyurethane is most commonly used with wood for sealing, filling and finishing but is not mechanically or thermally sound.
It really depends on whether you want to use it for bonding anything structural or to be able to drill it afterward?
My best suggestion would be to seek the info you require on some Australian woodworking forums where they will have the local knowledge.

Most people seem to superglue them back on chrisjw. However I would advise trying some blue thread-lock between metal to metal joints first as it's easier to disassemble for repairs should the need arise. Bear in mind that water and alcohol both soften superglue but won't affect cured thread lock. However thread lock can cause stress cracking in some thermoplastics, so keep it away from the screen. I have used thread lock successfully on a number of similar repairs although not yet tried it on an eVic.

Are you still taking orders for these or am I too late? I'm sure I can sort you something out. Drop me a PM and I'll get back to you later, just off on another PO run.

Just wanted to add:
If anybody has random or unstable readings it's usually a ranging issue.
For volts - set switch to off and then straight back to 20v DC.
For Ohms - set switch to 2000k, wait a moment and then straight back to 200.
You may find with some mods that you can't get a decent Ohms reading with the battery connected, simply test your atty in isolation.

Sorry they were late folks, had a few hitches at my end, missed a day and meters are another day behind leads.
All leads and meters are now posted though.

Thanks for the link breaktru, that's a good write up. I do think it's possible to up the amps as well as drop them, though a heatsink would be required. Am going to fry a couple of boards soon, at that price I can afford to play.

I've just ordered one to play with, it's specced as set up at 1 amp? Did you change the resistor breaktru or just run it as is?

Purchased a gold drip tip from Balllsy and aside from the language barrier it was a great experience He let me have it at a knock down price even though it's brand new and unused. Arrived promptly and was well packaged.......so was the drip tip.
