boyofford, I haven't boiled any yet but maybe I will start. Whatever you use bear in mind that only organic and 100% cotton balls are 100% cotton. Many makeup remover pads and some 'cotton balls' are made from Rayon, you don't want to inhale that!

Lasts as long as any other wick IMHO. Boots Baby 100% cotton balls £1.65 for 200. That's 0.825 pence per ball and you can get at least 10 wicks per ball. At 10+ wicks for less than a penny I change them all every time my dog farts. Are boots baby cotton balls organic then? Couldn't see it on the packaging. Well the 100% cotton ones are made of 100% cotton so in that sense yes. I'm researching the processing and haven't found anything too scary yet, but they are tested on babies!

The only wick I use in all my coils now is boots cotton wool ball, teased out into a strand-ish.
I don't care if it's lumpy, bumpy, longer on one side, fat in the middle, as long as it has a thin end to fit through the coil....job done!
I'm using them in everything, CE5's, eVods, protanks, Novas, RDA's, Genesis....
Not had poor flavour or a dry hit in six months.

Super-Shiny, right I've had a fresh wick in an RDA and really tried to nail the flavour I'm getting from VV. I have to stick with the original Pretzel decision. However I am able to detect a very weak hazelnut syrup type flavour, like the stuff you put in coffee. It does have a sweet hint but not enough to say it's a sweet flavoured juice.

toots, I've mixed it at 20%, that's a good starting point for all my juices. It may be I couldn't taste it because I had just been vaping RA? I'll chuck some in an RDA in a minute.

You should probably get some in anyway lairey, everybody has waaaay different tastes. I've mixed up a batch of Jack The Ripple this Monday, had a little try and didn't get any flavour at all. Letting it have a week to steep before I try it again. I actually only like about 20% of the juice I've tried, I either can't taste it or it's rank.

lairey, I mostly get a flavour which is similar to Pretzels. I wouldn't say it's sweet at all Super-Shiny? Then again I do mostly vape Red Astair at 20% these days and that is sweet to me.

Don't forget to give it a coat of Renaissance Wax or clear lacquer to stop it tarnishing.

I think that is quite lovely in the pics on C9V. Not big on the C9V branding though. Still, it's a moot point as I can't afford it

Two things I would never buy cloned: Leatherman and Zippo.
I've had several warranty repairs and replacements over the years, never any hassle. My Leatherman Supertool will be going away for a new blade this summer as it's getting a bit short after 15 years of sharpening.

Personally mimi, I would send an email to advise them that you will be persuing this matter further. Inform them that if you do not receive your goods within x days you will have no choice but to inform Facebook, Trading standards and the Police Electronic Crime Unit. (As well as every forum, group etc that you can find) It doesn't matter that you didn't buy a ticket to enter, a free entry counts the same as buying a ticket according to the Gambling Commission (prize competitions and free draws act 2005) (If you still have the original message where they offered to send your prize if you purchased something then they may wish to avoid a case for attempted fraud or breach of the Gambling act). In the CC box put the email for your local trading standards to show you mean business. Trading standards may or may not care but it will give the company something to think about. You may also wish to inform them that you aren't making threats but protecting your rights as consumer. You can probably find an email template online somewhere. Failing all that I know a bloke who can fix problems

boyofford, pop into a locksmith shop or maybe a good hardware shop and get a bottle of graphite powder. Open the locking ring fully and give it a puff of powder then run the ring up and down a few times. Once you have got all the grey crap off your hands the action should be smooth as silk and stay that way. I have used that trick in the past by running the point of a soft pencil around the male threads ... works a treat and costs nowt. How did you get the point of the pencil under the locking ring? I got the impression he didn't want to dismantle it.
