A pair of 'baby' (5") mole grips around the knurled part of the adapter, snug against the top cover of the iStick. Adjust them 'till they're tight then take them off and tighten a little more. Almost so you think you'll need another tool to close them. Now hold the iStick (horizontally) and grips in both hands and rap the handle of the grips smartly on the edge of a table top or step. If you hit the handle (and not the release lever) in the direction which the adapter unscrews it should shock loose. If it doesn't budge and the grips don't slip then hit it harder next time. Otherwise a padded vise and some huge grips and get medieval on it!  |

Beijing Aerospace Control Center has announced that the Jade Rabbit Lunar Rover is in trouble after experiencing a "mechanical control abnormality", Chinese state media report.
The Moon exploration vehicle ran into problems due to the moon's "complicated lunar surface environment", Xinhua news agency said, citing science officials.

I have a minor problem with the above. There is a ring at the bottom of the connector that keep either falling out or attaching itself to the clearo I am using, I just know I am going to lose it one of these days. Should it have a washer or something attached to keep it in place? I cannot what it's function is. There is a brass ring around the outside base of the 510 connector which forms the eGo thread component. As far as I know it's only a friction fit and so could possibly come loose over time. If you only ever use a 510 fitting clearo then it won't be a problem to lose it. If you want to use eVods or similar then it will need to be fixed as they won't work without it. |
