WOW, that's a brilliant idea Kath. I wonder if we could get a bit of dowel the same size and send him that? Lolli, the ideas on the Bucko thread scared me! I've just made a case for my friend's daughters phone tonight, and that was hard enough to work out the dimensions - the thought of an extra pocket for your wine bottle and one for your crocheted pampers was almost too much. With regard to payment <serious face now> I don't want anything. For my job, I have to send a certain number of parcels each month and it gets boring sending choccie to my kids! I also get heaps of free stamps, so the postage is not an issue. I have two reels of cream crochet cotton I bought in a charity shop for 10p each, so they will keep me going for a while. With regard to making them, I am the original faffer so working these out is great fun for me. It also gives me something to do when sitting in traffic jams, and I enjoy it, so it is a pleasure to do. If you really want to give something, then please donate to a charity. In the spirit of the forum, I will suggest Chaldon Animal Sanctuary (Chrissie can give you the details) but there are many other deserving ones out there that appreciate the support. Now I'd better bugger off and get some sleep - heaps of crocheting to do tomorrow

Just trying to cath up Kath, I don't want to confuse you, but I'm going to anyway Please send one of my packs and one of Chrissie's 910s to Scylla. I don't want Chrissie to go short and I have plenty to go round. Also, please keep some of my 510s if you are short of them. I bought another 10 a couple of days ago from Glenn (did I mention I am a hoarder? )as he is selling off a lot of his stuff. It would be a travesty if you end up short after going to all the trouble of organising, so I insist you keep some of mine. I hope you read this before you go to the post tomorrow!

Great news Kath - The Chinese vendors are canny with what they declare - 'aromatherapy oils' has been used to describe juices in the past!
Make sure everyone pays you with PayPal gift so they pay the fee, otherwise you will be out of pocket.
Thanks again.

Eek Lilac - I have started on a Riva sized one for you! The stuff I am using is 100% cotton so it has no give. Actually, the finished thing is 75% cotton and 25% cat hair, but I am still not sure of the stretchability of cat hair! Not a problem as that can be for Hanow, but can you measure the bottom of the Mako? And do I need to make an allowance for the button on the mako - is it on the bottom? I can make it with an 'open bottom' that can be tightened to fit. Hanow, I can't charge - see cat hair comment!

OK, the next one is in production. I'm happy to make as many as needed, although can't promise how quickly. I'm quite certain one could be designed to fit a SD Scylla

Another thing - if the e-cig has a similar effect on the body at similar times as a regular cigarette, why are they shown on different graphs? Those Cmax figures must be significantly different. And did they have participants chain vaping and chain smoking? They state "Cmax was reach at similar times [for both] with the average time taken to reach Cmax at 7 minutes". I am certain I used to smoke a cig in far less than 7 minutes. I do like a bit of nitpicking

That is really funny Chrissie. The report is now available. It was late last night when I read it, but the first thing that jumped out was the lack of methodology. They have blacked out the important figures, so as it stands it is not a replicable study and doesn't really show the true results of the test, although makes the statement that ecigs are great. Dave Dorn (SubVap/HiFiStud) also noted that if the nicotine levels are as high as a regular cigarette then it would make vaping fall into the same category as smoking, rather than NRT as the nicotine levels should be lower for NRT. Therefore, vaping is a recreational activity - something that Vapers Network and the petition have supported from the start.

Aww thanks Hanow. It's the first time I've used crochet thread and a tiny hook. Actually, I've only been crocheting since earlier this year, so I'm still having a lot of 'first times'!

Of course you can Lilac, or I'll make you a new one. At least that way it'll have less mistakes - I made it up as I went along so it's all a bit experimental.

That sound good Lilac. I've looked at modifying other things but it needs to retain an element of function whilst in it's holder otherwise I'll take it out to use it and be back at square one again............. I have tried attaching a pic of the one I made today, although not done this before so not convinced I have done it right. I thought the 'laying on the counter' version would be better than the 'wearing it and look at my boobs' shot [/img]

Having just one working battery at the moment, I seem to be spending more time looking for where I put my Riva than I do vaping! At least when I had two working batteries I could just chuck an atty on the spare until the first one turned up. I'm also thinking forward to my canal boat holiday in August - I really don't want it rolling off the boat into a murky canal! So I decided I would buy a lanyard for it. If only it was as simple as making the decision! I finally found one I really like at Heaven Gifts www.heaven-gifts.com/index.php?gOo=goods_search_list.dwt&gcat=99 but not in stock Has anyone else seen them anywhere for a reasonable price? I ended up making myself one today - promise you won't laugh? I crocheted it!!! I have to be honest, it does the job but I really would prefer black leather over cream cotton though!

Hissie, your idea would work too.
Try dropping a third of each flavour into a cart, or add a few drops of the RY4 to the drum or coffee.
I almost always start with one flavour then top up with another, usually because I can't find the first one.....

I generally don't use mine anywhere I wouldn't have smoked before, although considering I was a smoker for 25 years, going back to yoof, you could smoke almost anywhere.
SO, my places include:
Train Bus Cinema Café Pub Restaurant My Mum's house (outrageous!) Shopping centres Sainsbury's head office in Holborn (very stealthily - I was a guest!) Hotels
I don't tend to use it in shops and almost always introduce it in pubs/restaurants, but mostly because I don't want the scene of other customers complaining.

Ladywinnie, you don't get any juice with a Riva starter kit (something several of us have mentioned to Abe in the past) but you can probably call them and order some more to come in the same delivery.
If not, OKSMokey are pretty good and have free delviery
