Well, that's what I was thinking Chrissie, but I wondered if I was being a bit too optimistic.
How's the Mako going Lilac?

I just checked the progress again (now that I know how to!) and it is en route to delivery depot, as of 11:59
So, hopefully we should know about charges in the next few days

Hissie, if you pop the good battery onto the charger the blue button should flash a few times and the light on the charger change from green to red. I realise your battery is not yet flat, but you will have used some of the power and so this should give you an indication of whether the charger is working.

Oh Lolli, what a bittersweet story.
Sounds like you got there in the nick of time for some of them.
Good luck with your hand rearing - and don't forget, we will want photos!

Both the atties that came with my Riva from LF are Titan branded. They were wrapped in the box so I'm guessing Abe's supplier sent them to him that way.

Copied from ECF Intellicig will be revealing results from a major research study in to the Intellicig NDD. The study looks at the actual levels of Nicotine absorbed in the blood whilst and post using the Intellicig compared with a traditional cigarette. Watch out here for the published report tomorrow. __________________ David Newns - Intellicig - Director Buy our UK manufactured E-Liquid (ECOpure) Linky www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-cigarette-news/105733-intellicig-will-reveal-results-major-research-project-tomorrow.htmlAnd if anyone fancies a trip to the thread that Rusty announced this on on UKVapers, Deewal's 'unbiased' comment just had me in tears!

Get yourself off the stoopid step Hanow. The F'Art (as it is affectionately known) flavourings are almost all great for vaping. I believe there are a few exceptions as those with sugar and/or colourings will knacker your atty (but all juice does as well!) but I'm not sure which they are! There are mixing calculators www.todmuller.com/ejuice/ejuice.php and www.tji-java-ide.com/e-cigarette/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=88 and I believe there is a mixing app for the iphone as well! Personally, I am crap at it I have a box of F'Art flavours on my desk, plus the strong nic juice and vg, but it all just sits there, taunting me. One of the best tips I have seen is to try mixing your flavours using just VG (which you can buy a large bottle of in Boots for just a couple of quid) and try vaping that for flavour before making the mix with the more expensive nicotine. You can still vape the no nic mix. The same person suggested direct dripping the glycerin onto the atty and 'smoking' off the previous flavour to clean when swapping flavours. That's not a very detailed reply, but I am far from expert on the subject!

Hissie
Vaping is different to smoking in the draw. With smoking, you can literally have a quick puff, but as the atomiser needs to warm up, vaping must be slower.
It is best to press the button just a second or so before you inhale (which starts the atty up), then take a low and slow draw. The thing that always reminds me just how long, is remembering people complaining that one of the devices had a cut off time of 10 seconds! I can only draw for about 4 or 5 and that's if I am trying hard!
I don't think there is anything specific to the Riva that you can do - it's just generally getting used to vaping I guess.

Does it say it's awaiting a charge Kath? I couldn't see that, but probably looking at the wrong thing.

Sorry, should have explained. The RY4 is 36mg from Paradisevape, it's just that the only spare bottles I have are from TW
The Cafe Brasiliano is 18mg from TW.
The Drum is what it is marked as
I wanted to send you a selection of strengths and flavours so you had a chance to experiment.
I find with the higher juice, I vape less often - I get my nicotine levels up higher more quickly. I used to smoke Marlboro lights and I now use 32 or 36mg liquid. Don't write off the 36mg just yet!
Profbeard was explaining on another forum this morning about using stronger liquids "It is common for people to start off "too weak" (usually because they smoked "lights") because vaping and smoking is different..."
Regarding juice, most of mine are from Enjuice. I probably have around 35 of their juices now and love almost all of them because they are strong and distinctive flavours. I believe Mark is back from his holidays in the next couple of days and his orders always arrive next day (for me) Use UKVapers to get 5% off.
I find TW liquids a bit too sweet and cloying, although the flavours are strong. That said, I have not tried their tobacco, just coffee, fruit and sweet juices.
OKSmokey had some good clearance deals last time I looked and I believe his postage is free as well. He does a multi pack with 5 x 10ml bottles for just over £21 with a good range of flavours to choose from. That is pretty good value for money
Liberty flights sell 5ml bottles in all their flavours. With the discount code ECR69 they work out at just over £2.50 each

Hissie, just give it a go! It seems you have one working battery at least and you won't find out about the other until you try it!
You're going to have to take the plunge at some point, it may as well be now!

Judy, the atties arrive covered with a 'primer' from the factory (some sort of protections I believe).
This can a) taste nasty and b) take a while to wear off, so it takes a while to get the atties going at their full potential. Some are worse than others, although I don't know why.
Keep it moist (ohh err) and keep going. Within a short time you should be vaping plumes!
ETA You can blow some of the primer out I believe, but it seems every time I blow out an atty it slips into a coma, so I tend not to bother.

I had trouble getting hold of them on Friday Hissie, but somehow the numbers register with them and they phone back any missed calls.
Don't worry about the poorly battery too much at the moment. If, when you get your juice, you find it doesn't work then the other one should keep you going for the best part of a day. I find they last me 24 hours, so if you pop it on charge overnight you'll be ready for the morning.
Fingers crossed the postie arrives with parcels in the morning.
