Welcome! Generally speaking you'll only get more throat hit with a higher nicotine level but as you're using Ex High, that's not going to happen. I'd try the Flue Cured from Paradise Vape. However, it would help if you could tell us what setup you're vaping on. Sean |

Once you're happy with it Graeme, I'd offer the Cyclops again as long as it really hasn't put you off. I know I was disappoionted that mine was a problem one, but it hasn't put me off future versions and certainly hasn't put me off trading with you (as you know - with a second Multi Mod on order!). A fully working Cyclops would be a great value for money 18650 vaper. You tried your best to give a great deal and this time (with the Cyclops) it didn't come off... that's life. So, as well as offering future Cyclops, I'm eagerly awaiting your next offering! I'd like a Lazy Boy chair with a 901 fitting and dancing girls please! Sean |

Blue is right, it's probably the primer they put in. Take the atty off and blow hard through it, from the cartridge end (into some kitchen paper), then add a couple of drops of juice and you're good to go. It should wear off soon. Just check the end of your carts to make sure you're not melting them though... if you are, either trim them down a fraction and/or make sure the flat sides of the cart line up with the flat side of the atty bridge. TBH, if you were burning the carts, then the taste wouldn't be 'funny' it'd be aweful! Geoff recons it tastes like burnt mattress (not sure how he knows!) Sean |

Welcome! You've already saved yourself some money before I even got here! I was a ciggy-look-a-like person too... I didn't listen to the advice here and bought one... within two weeks I was fed up with crap battery life and the fact that it still looked like a ciggy and so bought another kit. Since then, my collection has grown - all of them mods that bear no resemblance to a ciggy at all! Good luck! Sean |

Just to add to the Mod description... Basically, they are either built from scratch or started life as something else with another function entirely (torches for example). They are then modified to convert them into an e-cig vaping device, either by companies or individuals. Most mods hold larger batteries that give more legevity on the battery (or even more power such as 6 volts) and the rechargeable batteries tend to be cheaper to buy and replace in the long run. Many are customiseable to 'personalise' them to the individual user, such as button choice/placement, colours, led colours etc. etc. That's mods really! Sean |
