I tend to drop the voltage for low resistance heads down to 3.4 to start with. In reverse, if I know a vivi or V3 is 2.0ohms or more, I start at 3.7, and generally pop it up nearer 4.0 I often put the numbers in on this www.onlineconversion.com/ohms_law.htmmostly, I try to get between 6-8 watts. I depends a bit on how you draw as well. I tend to do long draws, and my juice is inclined to burn at 3.7v on a 1.5 ohm head. So I turn it down. Oh yes I see. I "long draw" too and just turning down from 3.7v to 3.5v with the Kanger makes a difference to the taste. I can see an evening of experimentation in front of me. |

Your DC 1.5ohm, it depends what version LT you have, the default setting varies between the versions. It is Version 1 I think - the one which was reduced to £9.95 the other day - grrrr |

Hi,
I am a relative newbie and have just got a Lavatube VV. I have been setting the voltage at 3.7v cos that is what is written on the battery. I use it with Kanger T3 (2.4ohm head) and Dual Coil Tanks with 1.5 ohm cartos. Ignoring juices, should I be setting the voltage differently for these two tanks? If so what would be good settings to start off with?

Received a twin 14500 mod from Mark yesterday. This is a mod with buckets of old-fashioned charm, it is like something my dad (a scientist and engineer) would have made when I was a kid. It vapes great and when I took it down the pub to show my (non-vaping) mates they were fascinated by the visible internals, wiring etc.. The case is plastic and won't stand much throwing around but if you want an inexpensive new toy that doesn't look like a sonic screwdriver I can recommend this.
