Thanks. Nothing much round my area and the whole of London looks a bit of a wasteland compared to the North West and West Yorkshire say. What is it up round there? All you lucky people.

Hi,
Online shopping is all very well but it would be nice to visit a shop or stall every now and again. Are there any in my area does anyone know?

Think the other styles just look a bit strange in public but I guess thats a problem I may have to get over! I still use a cig-a-like in the pub and out on the street, and use the bigger kit at home and at work.

It looks like i'm going to get the riva 1100 deluxe kit. but before i order anything , apart from the uk wall charger is there anything else i would need to buy for this kit. has anybody tried the e juice from vapeescape i wanted a normal tobacco nothing fancy i was thinking like the 555 range. many thanks Dusty I am 3 weeks into the same journey you have started on. I have heard nothing but good things about the Riva on this board so that looks like a good start. Dont be afraid of trying all the strange flavours after you have got used to your kit - It's all part of the fun. Vendors regularly offer sample size bottles of juice with discount codes on this forum. Good Luck Chrisss

Thanks. I've passed the link to a mate who wants to try vaping at the shallow end costwise, and got one for myself as a back up to my back up.

Problem with the Bolt is if you want to use a skirted atomiser like the vision or kanger you'll need a EGO adapter. Please bear this in mind. Also it is not Variable Voltage. What it is good for is if you expect your device to get a lot of physical abuse it is very robust. Thanks for the heads-up on the atomisers. I knew it was not VV - hope I don't go there - well not in the next 6 months. Robustness was a criteria - I was a tonka toy kid, for those who remember them.

Thanks for all your advice and opinions. It is really helpful for a newbie to be able to bounce their half-baked ideas around. In the end I decided that what I wanted was a basic robust workhorse, so I have ordered a Bolt.

I thought I had settled on getting a Riva 1100 deluxe kit when they come back in stock at Vape Escape and then I saw this - smok tech bolt starter kit (510 mod) www.smokshop.com/products/smok-tech-bolt-starter-kitAs a newbie is this sensible kit or am I being silly? Will they take clearomisers or am I just techno-confused?

A Riva is a 510/ego fitting, so anything with either a 510 or ego will fit (which is most things) For the mini Nova on a Riva you'd want type B from here www.vapeescape.co.uk/dct-plinths~324Ah! You read my mind

Wow! Those look good value. Is the quality OK does anyone know? And would I need anything else to fit on the mini nova that everyone keeps recommending?

Great suggestions - thanks. Given my old ciggy habit the advice i have been given is to get 2 batteries of at least 900mah. The Vision 1000 looks fantastic but is a bit pricy (£60) compared to the Riva (£35-40).
