I'm going to replace my non rebuildable that i got with my ego with a new clearo. I've been looking at these.. www.vapeescape.co.uk/vision-ego-v2-rainbow-long-wick~362Does anyone have any experience with them? From the pictures they look to have a lot more wick then the V3 and my current one. I've had a bit of a bad day and it's made me want to try a new clearo. From going menthol to cherry without cleaning (my own fault i know) and then going to strawberry and having nothing but coughing fits...i've not have a very enjoyable experience. Infact apart from half way through the day when it eased off for a bit, it's been nothing but harsh on my throat. On the plus side i found out a tiny bit of menthol and cherry made a Tune flovour vape Sorry, i'm rambling. Basically, i'm hoping a new accessory can improve my experience V2 looks appealing with its case full of wick. V3 is newer i guess, but looks exactly the same design as my non rebuildable. www.vapeescape.co.uk/vision-ego-rainbow-v3-rebuildable~388 which after todays experience is putting me off. Kanger T3 looks to be a wickless design www.vapeescape.co.uk/kanger-t3-bottom-coil-clearomiser~458...and then we have the popular mini nova for £5 more (and i'm supposed to be saving money doing this?)haha www.vapeescape.co.uk/mini-nova~404 Sorry, i started with one question and it turned into a mini essay

Edit: By the way, don't buy into any creams or ointments. They are a waste of money... I dont even know why they make them (suck people in and produce millions?). The best help is an ice cube or dabbing strong cheap aftershave on it. Personally I don't even bother with mine...just let then come and go haha sick of trying Acclovir isn't a waste of money, not if you buy the proper stuff from the chemist! It can halt a cold sore in it's tracks! The ingredients must be ice cubes and cheap aftershave then!

Coldsore

Coincidentally I got my first coldsore (in a few months) a week after vaping. I get them from time to time anyway and have done since I was a child so I doubt its down to vaping. My guess is germs on your tip. With a cig you smoke and throw away, with an ecig your putting the same thing in your mouth over and over. Don't worry about it.. they can be annoying, but such is life. Edit: By the way, don't buy into any creams or ointments. They are a waste of money... These suggestions seem to make sense. My partner resorted to a pack of lnb this morning because the vapor kept grabbing her throat and making her cough To test the theories I'll get mine going till its smooth tonight, then let her have a try. If it makes her cough we know its the throat getting used to it....if it doesn't then we know its the wick/heat getting to a good yemperature.

Glad I'm not the only one by the sounds of it then maybe it is just getting used to it then for the first drags. My cartos are SR btw... I imagine LR would blow me away haha. Have you tried SR cartos to see if that stops the tingling?

For tapatalk, have you tried Settings>Apps>Tapatalk>Clear Cache and clear Data? Clear cache usually fixes problems with android apps, clear data would help too, but it would clear any previous settings.

I'll give the 'swish' technique a go thanks. In regards to VG..it also does it with a 100% VG mango I have from paradise vape. I wonder if 50/50 may balance it I do need to purchase a decent rebuildable clearo at some point though i guess though, eitherway

Something weird seems to happen when I vape... I have a basic ce4 650mah (blister pack) with non rebuildable clearo and I've noticed between vaping, after its been sat for a while, the first set of drags a seem to be a bit rough or harsh, like its very hot or something. It kind of feels a bit tingly in my mouth. After a little bit it mellows out and I get full flavour and a smooth vape. I've tried slow drags, fast/hard drags and different liquids but my result is the same. I can't figure it out... could it be something to do with the e liquid is soaking into the wick? It doesn't happen with my boge cartomisers. I can live with it...but seeing as I'm on the forum now I thought I'dask Thanks!

Haha definitely it was more an uneducated thought then a worry. I was thinking something more like pneumonia, although I realise that's really not as simple as a bit of water in the lungs Ignore me.. my mind wanders.

I was wondering about the water in vape juice... although I see a lot of people who've been vaping over a year now which made me think my query was irrelevant. I was thinking, is there a potential risk of the water in vapour (that's not been completely exhaled) settling in the lungs and causing problems? I guess the amount is so small its nothing a cough or 2 wouldn't expel anyway

Thanks gunjack! Still loving my purchase thanks to you guys. The battery ran out for the first time since i got it this morning. I usually let it charge for the odd 30 min on the way to work and then when I'm driving between jobs which has worked out fine I got some boge carts the other day too, i still prefer the clearomiser so I might try a rebuildable next, but these are handy when I want to change flavours

Well..thank you all for your help. Today my CE4 style from ecignet came! I did go for the 650mah in the end up and I'll see how it goes. I can always buy another battery but I'm using this as a test then maybe ordering my partner one too. So far so good though...much fuller vape then the elite.it is bigger but hey ho, I got used to the size quickly. Currently trying a black honey tobacco (mostly pg) mix. Very happy. Now I'm going to order some more cart/clearomisers to keep the taste buds happy Thanks again guys!

If my elites currently last me a day, shouldn't a 650mah? ???

Taking into account all your suggestions and gradually being able to make sense of what's on offer (there's so much!) i (think) i've narrowed it down to an Ego CE4 (650mah version), an ecab (puts me off not being 510) or the 510-T (seems similar to ecab, but 510 and a tank). The 510-T seems very slim pickings in UK (for a genuine one). The ecab looks great....but no 510 =/ The ego ce4 seems like a winner....but the size puts me off. Oh why am i so picky! :-[

Thanks for the replies! Taking everything into account, I'll do some more research after work tomorrow with the suggestions and links you've all provided (i guess I should avoid the website I linked too) As for batteries...I always got by on 1 before, but then again I work with PCs so was never short of a USB port to top the charge up throughout the day Maybe if I just got a set/kit with 2 batteries then we can share them and see what we think before buying more. Thanks again guys!
