Rant away Perps. What got me was the Thames was under threat of breaking its banks, the armed forces were sent in to sure up flood defences. Yes In the West Country they have been under water for weeks and have only just had help. One village has been cut of since just after Christmas, with kind people ferrying stranded people and supplies in boats. Where were the Army to help them. They finally got a pontoon so they could walk across the water week before last. They still can't drive anywhere and so are still stranded.

Getting right good battering chykensa. The ex came to pick up the children and parked his car by the side of my shop. He could barely stand up the wind was so strong, sleet coming in sideways. More heavy wind due over night and tomorrow! |

I had an svd. The fire button decided to get stuck, so sent it to Raid who couldn't fix it. The vamo is much easier to use and not as heavy.

Still very windy this morning. I thought my daughters bedroom window was going to blow in last night the wind hitting it was horrendous.
Thankfully no storm damage over than a fence panel down.
Hope everyone else is as lucky with only very minor damage.
I think people on the Somerset levels have it alot worse, my heart goes out to all the farmers and everyone else. 6 weeks under water is way beyond a joke.

andy01424 stayed near Lake Huron once, strange seeing external doors on the second floor of houses and snow mobiles in the gardens whilst we travelled around Ontario. There was still snow on the groud mid May in Northern Ontario.

The sun is shining for a change  However we know what is about to hit us. My sons Explorer camp has been cancelled, the scout hut roof has lost tiles and cubs had to be cancelled this week. Beavers was interesting with electric on and off. Time to make sure nothing loose in the garden that could do some damage. Stay safe everyone. |

Didn't want to start a new thread, but the air flow adjust part has stuck on my Aerotank, any ideas on how to get it to move, the draw is very tight on it at the moment.

Well its still very wet and very windy, haven't checked for any damage yet, but I have heard of one shop window in town being blown out by the wind. Feel sorry for the children walking to school in this. My son the stupid boy turned down a lift home yesterday. He was drenched, he said it felt like stones hitting him the rain and wind was that heavy and strong. Going by the forecast the terrible weather is set to stay for a while across the whole country.
