All very good points, I have always shied away from mixing my own, as I didn't want vats of nicotine all over the place (many pets, and terrible memory, bad combination). Might have a punt, but I assumed that the tobacco flavourings were a bugger to put together yourself?
Thanks all, will have a look about...

I am going for another attempt to remove the nicotine addiction once and for all, as I don't wish to be reliant on anything for my general well-being. I bought a 0 nic apple flavoured Liqua, and the lack of throat hit made me feel it wasn't worth vaping it.
To be fair, I normally only vape tobacco flavours, but fastech have stopped stocking the Turkish Tobacco flavoured Liqua I normally vape, and certainly no 0 nic version of it. I might try and track it down somewhere else, but thought I'd pick your brains first.
Something dirty tasting and tobbazo-esque is good, and if it is possible to get a throat hit off of 0 nic, that would be nice too.
I like cheap, but if I manage this, then obviously I will only be vaping for pleasure, thus my juice use should reduce enough for it not to matter too much how much it costs.
What have you got?

As it says above really, I've been very much enjoying my hypertank for a while now, as it means less refilling. Although it tends to get a bit gurgly halfway down, this is not the main problem. My main problem is that if I am not concentrating and pick it up by the drip tip (or if I'm pulling the tip out for a quick clean) then the whole top comes right out and the juice comes out of the bottom right into my battery connection/lap. Anyone else had this? And short of gaffa tape, what's a good solution? Ta

Bamboo wool is the new cotton wool! No need to faff around with getting the right thickness or pulling the cotton wool strands to the correct shape. Did you find a UK source for this greigster, sounds intresting! Colour me interested, I use cotton wool a lot, and more gets chucked out cos I've pulled it all apart than goes in the coil.

Thanks all, will add some 2.5 to my next wick orders. And will carry on sticking cotton wool in the T4s until then.

Pulled the pin up on the Vamo, obvious really, I think I expected not to have to do that with it (cos I'm always doing it with my egos, so I should have thought of that). All fine. And the ekowooled Evod on it is fine. I made the ekowool wick with a paperclip jammed in the middle of it, so I thought it would be unstrangleable. Perhaps not. I think the clearos might have smaller gaps than usual, which is a pain. Also, can you get the stuff white hot with a normal fag lighter? Or do I need something a bit scarier?

I have been having trouble getting these clearos to wick properly (and that's quite aside from the two with spinning pins that pull the wicks back inside them) www.fasttech.com/products/1360400The original wicks in them are too thin and just flood, so I did a couple with cotton wool (not bad, worked ok) but wanted to use something better, so I wicked one up with 2mm ekowool (flamed it with a lighter first, .2 a1 kanthal, 2.4 ?). Now I get one or two hits and then burning wick taste after a couple of draws. Was using it for an hour or two last night, and it's not even gone down .5 of a ml. I yanked the flavour wicks off on the cotton wool one I did, and it worked a lot better, I'm thinking maybe I need to cut the silicon round the wicks a bit as it might be too tight, never done this before, and bit wary of it. On an unrelated note, a lot of my clearos are now reading 9.9 (default) on the vamo, but firing ok on an ego. This is also confusing me a bit. Are my firing pins too short for the vamo? Is the vamo slightly compromised here by not having a higher contact? Any help much appreciated.

I've dropped the e-pipe in my basket, now can anyone recommend me some 18350 batteries to go in it from fasttech? I've only got 18650s at the moment, and they're not protected ones either.

Here's a new one, I have finally worked out why one of my new T4s from fasttech keeps leaking. It is because every time I screw it on, or unscrew it from any battery, the head spins round, and the wick curls itself round the coil, and goes back inside. Short of gaffa taping the head down inside, what can I do? The rubber grommet seems more than happy to spin around all the time. It's taken 3 recoilings for me to work this out... doh!

The T4 from Fasttech arrived yesterday Bought this as i liked the idea of an Evod/T3s that i could change the DT on - and before i'd heard of the Davide mini. Chrome plated, plastic tube. takes Evod/ProTank heads - can drain pretty much a full tank and capacity 2.3ml ish. In order of preference an Vape quality - i'd rate this below the Davide mini but slightly above the T3s and Evods - maybe cos i prefer using me own DT. Whilst it will take 510 DT's - only slimmer ones seem to fit mine at least. For $3.11 definitely was worth a punt - a cheaper Davide mini - not quite as good, but not that far off either. Hopefully UK Vandors will get something similar soon I've got 5 of these, been messing about with them for a week or so now. First one the wick fell out of while I was refilling it. And most of them have wicking problems and taste burnt. It's fixable if you swap out the original wick for something better, and not too thick, don't put a flavour wick on top, or you get burned taste. And they get a bit gurgly round the bottom at the moment as well. Mind you, I've mostly been using them outdoors in all day drinking sessions in blazing sunshine, so that might not have helped. As a useful swappable clearo, that you can replace all the bits on with generic other bits, it gets a big thumbs up.

Soooo.... my T4 clearos (bit like T3s, which i like) have been fun. First one i tried straight out of the pack, tasted a lot like engine oil, so I switched out the wick for a bit of clean cotton, and still tasted like engine oil. So I chucked the lot of them in steradent overnight, and gave them a rinse and a bit of a dry burn. All was better, until..... First refill on the one I was using, it started leaking through the bottom, which confused me a bit until I took the head out and had a look. The wicks had fallen out of the side, doh.
Should be fixable, but worth knowing.
