Less of a march, more just a nice afternoon out, do what the farmers did not so long ago, bring deckchairs and camping tables, and we'll all sit down in parliament square and have a nice cup of tea and a vape for the afternoon. Bring banners.

I did a coil once and it worked at 2.4 first time. Was well chuffed but couldnt get second one doing. Kept shorting so gave up and got some new heads. I'll try again some day So these one's that just make my batteries flash and stop working, I guess they're shorting then? I also have an EVOD that works on one battery for about 10 draws, then flashy death. And just flashy on the other batteries. Waiting on a new multimeter as mine just flashes random numbers now, then i can check a bit better on the next ones.

There's about 5 of us in my local boozer alone. I also played a wedding a month or so ago, and the groom and a few of his mates were puffing on egos. Made me feel better about having a quick drag inbetween songs behind my bass amp.

possibly, also i was hoping to keep it covered somehow, and a bit protected cos generally I am loading and unloading cars with amps and speakers and instruments and stuff, and things get knocked and fall out and stuff. But this is an interesting thing. Ta,

Ok, so I generally wander about the place with an 1100mah ego or Riva with some clearo or another on the end of it, in a lanyard round my neck. Since it has been very cold up until recently this has been fine, the robofag has mostly then been stuffed into either a waistcoat or jacket or shirt pocket to stop it flapping about on the end of the string. However now it is warm at last, it is annoying, and there is no pocket conveniently situated next to it. So what I am thinking, is some sort of tube, with a clip on the side (like on a pen lid) that I can jam into my pocket (confirmed wearer of cargo trousers/shorts, all the time) and not have to rummage around in there to find (lot of crap in my pockets). preferably big enough to take the whole thing in it's lanyard, so I can stick it back round my neck if I am somewhere settled and happy. Anyone reclaimed something else for this sort of use? I was going to use a torch belt thing, but can't wear belts, as I am allergic to cheap metal against my skin. Festival season has begun....

I tried using an automatic for hands free vaping, it did not end well. The battery kept locking and continuously pouring vapour into me. Not good, cos I am a musician and like to smoke while I play, so I could either spit the thing across the stage, or suffocate graciously.

ah, the second one I did last week is not so good. I tried using it last night, and my battery just flashes at me and refuses to work. I suspect a short in there somewhere. More fiddling then...

I can confirm after a couple of weeks that the Turkish Tobacco is the one I've been hunting for for months, not the traditional. It is lovely, and very cheap. www.fasttech.com/products/1297000

So sat down with some wire and wick and my old T3 heads last night and decided to just bite the bullet and have a go. It worked, pretty much first time, a couple of cock-ups due to using old blunt wire cutters, and the probe on my multimeter is just bare wire now, but it seems to vape alright, despite having a pretty high ohms rating (looked to be over 3) So I did my other one, and jammed it in the spares box. I reckon the next one I do will actually be spot on, quick learning curve. Also will buy new wire snips. Life is about to get much cheaper, this is a lot easier than one might be led to believe by some of the videos on youtube.

It's a win win situation for me, i used to like a bottle of wine a day at night, alcohol and wine for me are two good friends, so when i stopped smoking i had to stop drinking as there is know way i could drink wine and not smoke, so me vaping has saved me money from not drinking/smoking and now i feel so much healthier. See, I like a drink, and that was why I couldn't quit the stinkies, now I can vape while I drink my bottle of wine (only a couple of times a week now, not every day, still skint) or when I'm down the pub, and I can quit fags and be happy. Hoping to drop to no-nic and just have an ego and a clearo for when I'm drinking eventually. Life is too short to be sober
