Hello all, just got a kanger T2 5ml tank from vape-escape, and I don't know it it's supposed to be like this or not. I have screwed up all the screwy bits, and all seems solid and fine. But when I blew through the tube to get rid of the gurgly noise, the amount of liquid that came out seemd seriously excessive. it is now down at about 3.8 ml, and I only had a few goes on it last night to try out the RY4 I got at the same time (which is not for me, bad move filling a whole tank of it really). Is it normal to get this much liquid from a bit of a tube blow? Could it be due to over-filling? Am I a muppet?

Haven't hacked up too much gunk yet, but have had the same godawful aching teeth I got last time I quit fags properly, so it must be working right?

RY4?

I got some RY4 last night, and filled up a clearo with it. It was not pleasant (got the 5ml tester from vape-escape) so I switched tanks back to the other nasty stuff I have lying around. Problem is now all I can smell is RY4, the next day. Surely this is not normal? Is it normally this strong and hanging around? Also will it grow on me if I keep at it?

Thanks DJS. It got to about that last night in the pub, and then I switched it out for a carto. Nicely guessed by me. How often should you clean it out etc? Would like to keep it alive as long as possible before I have to replace it.

Ok, so I got my Riva this morning, well played Vape-Escape, super fast delivery at a sensible price. However, I am liking the clearomiser a great deal. But... Can I vape it right down to being empty? Or will this knacker it straight away? Is it best to keep topping it up, or to vape it dry and then clean it out? Sorry if this seems dumb, but after destroying 5 cartos on my last setup, I don't want to kill it too quick. Thanks all.

That's exactly what I did last night raid. Sounds like I finally got one right! Anyone found a way of hanging an ecig out of the corner of their mouth so they can vape while doing something else yet? Or do I need a harmonica holder thingy?

Thanks all, unfortunately I only came across those videos last night, and by then the 5 cartomisers i have had already started making crackly noises and tasting nasty. Luckily I just got an email saying my Riva has been dispatched, so with a bit of luck I'll get it right this time. Hope the wife doesn't work out how much I'm chucking around on this.

:)Hi Dave I have recently bought the Riva 1100 kit from Jason at Vapeescape and the batteries last a good day and a half and I am quite a heavy vaper. So with 2 batteries in the kit you should be well set up for your festivals. You soon get used to the bigger size of th batteries, matter of minutes. It also comes with 5 empty carts and a clearo and drip tip. Great bit of kit, next day delivery and don't forget the code "allabout" for 10% discount Done, and that's another pile of cash thrown at this new habit. Nice plan though, and I spent a couple of huors looking at other options this time, so might have finally got it right. Which is a good thing, as all my cartos taste of burn this morning, so am definitely going to finish up the baccy in my pocket this weekend while I wait for the delivery. Unless there's a way to stop the burny taste that I don't know about.

I'm thinking I need to get a 510 kit or something now. Thanks for the advice so far. If I get an 808-510 adaptor, I should be able to run the 510 off my old batteries right? Could be useful... However, after only 2 weeks, my cartomisers have turned to burny tasting crap, so might have to have a weekend on the proper fags til i can get a new kit delivered. It's only when I'm at work in the week that I smoke very little, if I'm on holiday or it's the weekend i can still get through a pack of Rizlas a day. particularly in festival season. Mod and load of batteries sounds like a good idea (although I am so new to all this, i have no idea where to look for anything). Suggestions for 510 kits?

Hello all, finally took the leap from proper cigs to these things about 3 weeks ago. Started with a Nucig (as recommended by a friend) and didn't really get on with the taste of it, so I bought a kit from smartcigs instead. Which I liked so much I bought a spare battery and a tub of eliquid. However, because I don't smoke much during the week (used to have about 6 or 7 tiny rollups a day) I didn't realise how little I got from these kr808d-1things. Usually a cartomiser lasts me about a day (or did until i started trying to fill them myself, think I'm getting the hang of it now) but then I had a night of drinking and in the space of 3 hours I went through 2 batteries and 4 cartomisers. So I am now worried about when it gets to festival time in the summer, where I will have no electricity for about 4 or 5 days at a stretch. Will I need racks of batteries and prefilled cartos? Or is there a better way?In the short term however ,I'm just looking for something that lasts longer than a standard cartomiser that fits on my smartcigs batteries (KR808d-1) and is easier to fill up than a cartomiser.Any suggestions? Also tips on how to refill those pesky cartos, I only used to get through about 3/4 of an ounce of baccy a week, so smoking didn't cost much, and I don't want vaping to get hyper-expensive. Which it is looking likely to become. Cos from what I've read I'm going to need a bigger system.
