Ok, so I've managed 2 months of vaping exclusively, and it was only this weekend that I got a whiff of a fag and thought "oh I wish I was smoking one of them". Not to say I haven't been near them, the wife still smokes when she has a drink, and who am I to stop her? Generally I look smug and chuckle as she has to go outside the pub. But in the house, I've always smoked in there anyway, so she does as well. I think it was because I was using a non-tobacco flavour for the first time not just having a little taste of it. (Vapourtine Pina Colada, very nice btw). Changed it over for yet another tobacco flavour and was a bit better. I know if I have a fag i won't like it, cos I've done it a couple of times already. Which is frustrating, because the back of my head thinks different, it remembers that I love the things and always have done. On top of this, all my clearos now leak into my battery connection (except the original CE4 from the Riva kit, which I stuffed a bit of cotton wool on top of the wicks, seemed to fix it.) And everything seems like way too much of a faff. Along with the lanyard I have had to adopt after dropping the bloody thing so many times in the pub, which is not cool, and the batteries occasionally dismantling themselves for no good reason, I am having a crisis. Reassure me, tell me that if I do buy that ego tube mod that is nice and cheap, and find a nice clearo that won't leak, I will be fine with all this.... Btw, I got a new T3 yesterday, as the last one I had was the best clearo I had used, and didn't leak or nothing, until it got dropped on to a brick floor and cracked the tank. Hoping this will cheer me up, as I sit here cleaning liquid from the bottom of a 5ml t2 for the 4th time this morning.

in the future I want something that lasts for 3 days between charges, only needs refilling once a day, and hangs comfortably from my lower lip. That would be brilliant please futurologists.....

I have a sealed pouch of baccy in my pocket all the time. Just so I know I can have a cig any time I like. I know if I open it it will go off and get dry and nasty really quick. So my natural tightness and desire to not spend money keeps it sealed. It is for emergencies (along with the pack of Rizlas and lighter). been there 6 weeks now

My tester ecig i got to see if I liked it looked like a real one. I thought I would prefer it for stealthy vaping out in the smoking shed at the pub. As soon as I started using it inside i decided I would rather it didn't look like afag to avoid confusion. So I got some stainless batteries and blue cartos from smartcigs. Still looked like a fag, but a silver and blue one that was less likely to confuse punters. Shame that a lot of proper e-cigs like egos, and mods with big tanks on them do look like crack pipes though...

I saw it, I then went through the endless complaint process to write this.... rattled it off a bit quick, might be crap, but I've just got into this, and don't want it banned/taxed to the hilt just yet please.

I call the whole thing either my pretend fag, or crack-pipe, depending on who I'm with.

I have a T3 with gaffa tape wrapped round it screwed into a bent riva 1100 battery from a similar incident in a pub the other week. Brick floor, cracked tank. Stays in the lanyard if I'm drinking now. However much of a tit I look. Still works though. Glad it worked out ok for you.

hello, had a small disaster while fairly drunk on saturday night, i dropped my Riva, and there is now a crack in my kanger t3 tank, which is dripping juice. I suspect the tank is a write off, but fair do's my fault etc. etc. Anyhow, I do have a lanyard i got from ebay, but I have a few problems with it, one, it is not quite long enough for the battery on the inside, and I am pretty sure shoving the end of the clearo that hard to jam it in will not help much. I would like one that is nice and easy to get the thing in and out of, as I am a pointer, i.e. I tend to gesticulate while talking, and having a cigarette to point with is something I am unlikely to stop doing. So I need to be able to get the thing out before I strangle myself with it in conversation. I am not keen on the screw in ones that need dismantling and remantling to get on and off, and wuold quite like something leather, with poppers on it to get it in and out securely without all the shoving. Does such a thing exist and is it cheap?

Oh all these look good. And glad to know to miss out the pina colada one, I did have my eye on that one. Will cross it off my list.

Haven't yet found the right e-liquid for me, mostly been going for tobacco flavoured ones, hated RY4. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, so I don't think all the puddingy ones you guys seem so keen on are going to work for me. However, I am tempted by the odd Rum flavoured ones I have seen, and the Pina Colada I spotted somewhere. Anybody tried them? And are they good? And can I still drive with them? Quite poor, so cheaper the better.

Hoorah! Now if I had only figured this out before it leaked RY4 all over my case and made it stink....

Glad it's not just me then. I thought one of the many reasons we all had for giving up the stinkies was to be well, less stinky. This is stinkier than the cig stink (though probably just because I'm getting my sense of smell back again)

Excellent, I do hope so, as I only got the thing to get me through weekends away without having to switch or refill too much. Wasn't sure if overfilling was a "thing" or not, total newb at all this.
