Not to the insurance industry. Any nicotine product makes you a smoker to them.

marvellous. Interestingly, after 4 days of not exhaling through my nose, the snot is back to snot colour, mostly. The side effects of not smoking are interesting, and making my wife keep telling me to go o the doctor, who is tired of me turning up for no reason now. As am I. He is still unsure as to whether I am a non-smoker or not as well.

Apologies for this thread, just wanted to check it's not just me. Since vaping, my snot has become brown, and nasty, and ranges from very light to very dark brown. I've now tried to stop exhaling through my nose all the time, in the hopes that this proves it was the vapes. Sorry for the nasty subject, but wanted to check it wasn't just me.

Ha! I have now used the cotton wool rewick on both my t3s, and both are fine. So I was wrong, but am now happier. I did try to rewick my t2 5ml in a similar way, but while trying to pull the old wick out, the whole coil came clear, and I'm not quite ready for recoiling yet, so it's gone in the spares box for later. Happy about my T3s though, cos I like them best.

I have found with my innokin i30 that if i vape it a lot all at once the iclear gets super hot and starts leaking. Stop and let it cool down and it is fine. Now just vape it in little bursts. Im guessing that the o rings warp when they get hot causing leakage. Not the same clearo but maybe the same thing happening to yours if you vape a lot. Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 Interestingly the more I vape, the less they leak. Tends to get leaky in there while I'm at work, and I can sit there for a good 5 or 6 hours without touching it (since I stopped smoking while at work a few years ago, so the craving doesn't hit me there). Anyhow, have just done my first rewicking on a T3, using bits of cotton wool (read somewhere about it, and it turned out to be really easy) and hoping that it'll hold up.

So I have 3 different types of clearos now and all of them occasionally (every day a few times) gob liquid down into the battery connection. I now suspect that it is because I keep my e-cig on a lanyard round my neck from the moment I get up, til i go to bed. It is then either jammed in my waistcoat pocket, or down inside said waistcoat (as I am a dickensian fop). Therefore it has to be the body heat generated around it, particularly when I very often sit with my arms folded, due to it being bloody cold at the moment. Since I am unwilling to change any of these hard facts about my lifestyle, I shall probably just have to accept that 3 times a day I will have to take the thing apart and clean it out with a bit of tissue. Pain in the proverbial, but probably my only option now. Hey ho.

And there you have it, make of it what you will.

and of course the stinkies are sitting there waiting for your moment of weakness! Heh, I have to have an emergency pack of Drum in my pocket at all times (along with rizlas and a lighter) just in case. Works better for me. Last time I gave up properly it was much easier knowing I could have one if I wanted, and ironically it was a week after i stopped doing it (about 4 months in) that I gave in and went and bought more cigs. At some point I will consign it to the bin, but not yet.....

I have a wee 650 ego i got cheap, cos it had a spare charger and a CE4 with it. The CE4 leaks like a bugger I like the reassurance of having lots of run time on the batteries, cos i still like to think that when i leave the house I might not be back for days (used to happen a lot, now, not so much). Have just filled up the new T3 and had a decently long go on it. Seems ok again. It was the moment on sunday when I pulled the lanyard up for a quick vape, and discovered that one of my rivas tops had come off, and the button was floating around somewhere and I had to carefully shove the thing back together that was quite depressing. I had done nothing to it, and had been happily vaping on it a few minutes before. I assumed it was the one that got dropped and bent, but nope, it was the one that has not been abused. Works ok still. I figured if I could get a little thing that fitted one of those big power 18650 batteries in, I could hook it up and forget about it for a day or two.

<<<Reassure me, tell me that if I do buy that ego tube mod that is nice and cheap, and find a nice clearo that won't leak, I will be fine with all this... >>> I think you have answered two of your own questions. First off stop dropping things. Secondly, stop looking for cheap items and then expecting them to work like, and for as long as, more expensive items. Pay a bit more and buy from reccommended Vendors and it will pay for itself in time. I have 7 Clearos, 2 Kangers and 4 Viva Nova tanks. I have been using these with a lanyard, some since last October and they are all still going strong. In that time I have had one cracked clearo and I have replaced 2 heads. Also, I am still using the original Vision 1000 Kit that I bought back in June 2012 which I paid about 60 quid for and so far it has saved me £3706.00. Not a bad investment! You sir, are an inspiration. My Rivas are not dead yet, just a bit bent, and they still work. Will persevere with the kangers, and learn to mess about with them and get them fixed. Thank you, this is what I need to hear, that it isn't all a money pit.

Uhh, stop dropping stuff? I quite agree with this. Wish i could. I really want to get sorted without spending anymore money ideally, since I have yet to break even on all the stuff i have bought, compared to what i would have spent on fags. And disassociating it with smoking is the worst thing I can do, as long as my brain is fooled into thinking I'm still on the fags I'll be alright. Weird but true. Wifey is fine, she only has a fag maybe once a week, perhaps twice if we're properly on the sauce (I say we, it's mostly me). And any mod I buy would need to be small enough to carry around, and them vamos look big.
