I remember something similar to this on the old UKV1 forum where more than one person had the same thing and it turned out to be a bad batch

I've had this happen in the past. Go for a thicker juice with a heavier vg/pg ratio, 60/40 0r 70/30, and if you're using clearos, use a bottom coil, the juice isn't as hot.

Not that I know of. I love VR juice but depending on the flavour it either gives me a nose rudolph would be jealous of or I might as well be vaping laxative. The latest reaction I've had has been FSUASA ones, when i vape them it's as if quasimodo comes out to play in one of my ears, though to be fair I have had mild tinnitus, it just seems to make it a lot worse and I am seeing my gp tomorrow just to check if there's an underlying issue.

I've continued this morning with 100% flavourless pg and no reaction. I'm beginning to think problems/reactions I've had in the past are/were more to do with flavourings/additives than pg/vg. The main culprits being two usa premium juices one 70/30 the other 50/50

Today I have been vaping something I thought I was allergic to....100% pg.....even stranger for a 36mg vaper....zero nic, dripping in a 306 i've had throat hit, vapour, atty not getting as hot as some juices and no spitting. No reaction so far including the dreaded dry mouth/ulcers I used to blame on high pg mixes. Why did i try it? 'cos I've had a few bad vaped days and was fed up.

I'm vaping kent now, mixed at 50/50, 28mg, 1.5%, 1% ethyl maltol, 1% vape wizard. I made the mix on 22/5 and kept having a try weekly. It was nice enough @ week 3/4 but hit the spot on week 5.

Before you give up try some Kanthal Ribbon. I couldn't make a wick to save my life for my clockworks rda and was on the verge of selling it. I decided to give it one last go with ribbon and it was a lot easier. 4 wraps on 2mm wick gives me 1.5 nearly every time, on 3mm wick i get around 1.8-2.0

Fridge or freezer both have a risk of contaminating juice with water from condensation caused by the sudden change in temperature when taken out. Letting them stand 'till they reach room temperature before opening is the advice I've seen elsewhere

I've been wondering about flavour %'s too. What got me thinking was, Pipe sauce from lf is 95%vg so that means only 5% flavour, other juices at 90% vg mean only 10% flavour yet you see recipes at well over that.

The Dark Fire was like sweaty socks at 5%, I think 1.5% will be right for this.

Plum, Smoked Plum, Desert Voyager, Gold Ducat, Kent, Falcon Eye, Chocomint and Dark Fire. Kent is the one I've played around with most and 2% is the best I've found this to be. I get a smooth toffee/caramel taste.

I bought 8 of these flavours a while ago and after some trials I'm almost there with them. When I first got them I used the slapdash method, think of a percentage and mix it. I had some pretty rank results. A bit of reading later I made 2 mixes of each, at 1% and 2%. After a week's steeping they were ok'ish but a touch harsh, 1% of vape wizard in each and further steeping. I mixed them on the 1st and and tried them today. Every one is vapeable, a couple are spot on at 2%, 1 is spot on at 1%, of the rest I think one will be better at 2.5-3 % and the others at 1.5%. Less is definitely more with these flavours. I've mixed @ 36mg 50/50 with undiluted vg so they are a touch heavy but overall quite acceptable.

Less is definately more with these flavours. I'd mixed some chocomint @ 5% and 10% 5 days ago. I tested them yesterday and both had a weird chocolatey taste and no mint. After searching around t'net I diluted to 1 and 2% and both were a nice vapable choc mint flavour which should get even better with more steeping.
With flavours from LT I now make 3 mixes @ 1, 2 and 3% when trying one. 100 total drops per mix.
