AS thee say - taste is subjective - Marloboro vs B&H - GV vs Drum etc DIY Praze is my usual ADV - best left for 2weeks steeping IMHO and at either 15-20% - works with 5% VFC added to it too digicig Brain dump VFC???

A bit of advice for people starting mixing, make sure you have enough pre-made juice to last until your mixing routine is established. Whilst some own mixes may be ready to vape pretty quickly, others will need steeping and/or adjusting. This way you have enough to see you through, or to fall back on if it all goes to a bag of rats.

It's funny how tastes vary. Praze is one of my every day vapes, I don't get nuts at all. What I do get is the 'biscuit' taste which you often get with concentrates using Tobacco Absolute I believe. You can also get this background with some VR juices. But I can't taste or smell nuts at all.

I'm with fiddles on this, micro coils and cotton wool gives an excellent vape on the 804.

12 wraps of .3 around a 1.5mm drill bit will fit nicely into an Evod/Protank head. There is a bit of room left as well. But I will use both .25 and .3. It all depends on how confident you are in coiling neatly really and taking a bit of time. Rush it, bodge it.

Why thank you kind sir. Another thing maybe worth mentioning is not to try and force too much cotton wool through. I was pretty guilty of this when I first started using it. What I then did was just make a couple of (Evod I think) coils and played with various amounts of CW until I was confident in getting the balance of the right amount to go through the coil fairly easily/fluff up well enough not to leak and wick well. It's all learning, wire and CW are cheap as chips really, so experimenting is worth doing.

Will cotton wool work with 4 or 5 ordinary wraps? I'll get some 0.3 in my next order. It is payday, after all! It will, but the coil is not as strong or firm as a micro coil, so more care and patience is need to get the cotton wool through. If it does move to one side, you can always gently ease it back.

Some branches of Boots will sell you syringes and measuring cups (free) if you ask nicely at the pharmacy counter.

Can dot1ml be used offline? ie can it be downloaded to use, or is it only online? Touché! The mixer will still work if you load it up on a laptop then walk out of wifi range though. It wasn't meant to be a touché moment, it was a serious question.

I have put in recipe on two different calculators for a 30ml quantity of 12mg nic Bubblegum flavour.(10%) On one of them dot1ml - I seem only to be able to enter a quantity of 31ml for some reason - but in general, have I done it right. The first image is for dot1ml...... For dot1ml, you should be able to simply type in 30 for the overall quantity. If you click inside the box you can also use the up and down arrows on your keyboard to increase/decrease the amount. Unless you make your way down to under 5ml the +/- buttons always use increments of 5ml. I wouldn't say that EJMU is much better than dot1ml (I believe the only main feature that EJMU has is the feature for combining different nic bases, whereas dot1ml has a few the EJMU doesn't). Full disclosure: dot1ml is my website Can dot1ml be used offline? ie can it be downloaded to use, or is it only online?

Sounds right, although you have your PG amounts the wrong way round for each recipe. GR does go a nice golden colour after steeping, I now mix it at 3%. what do you mean roger, that there should be more nic than pg?. No. Your 1st recipe has 6.27ml PG. It should be 6.47ml. Your second one has 6.47ml PG. Should be 6.27ml. You have just transposed them when writing the post, that's all.

ok, all the gear arrived. i only had 50ml empties so i washed them in warm water then soaked, then washed in hot, then soaked in warm water with bicarbonate soda for an hour, rinsed, then dried. i think there clean i then made up 2 mixes of 10ml. the first was just a tobacco mix: FA golden rollie. the mix is as follows, hope im right here. end amount 10ml @24mg with 2% flavour 72mg/pg nic = 3.33ml PG = 6.27ml FA golden rollie = 0.2ml second mix: end amount 10ml @24mg with 2% flavour x 2 flavours ie 2% of each flavour. 72mg/pg nic = 3.33ml PG = 6.47ml FA golden rollie = 0.2ml FA caramel = 0.2ml does that sound right to you guys?. they are both very clear looking, the tobacco/caramel is a very slightly discoloured clear. im not fussed about it being coloured just thought maybe it should be. raggy....... Sounds right, although you have your PG amounts the wrong way round for each recipe. GR does go a nice golden colour after steeping, I now mix it at 3%.

The problem I was describing has nothing to do with the way you coil a Protank. It would leak from the base no matter what head was in, the same head was fine in another base. I can only assume that there is a slight deformity in that particular base section or the threading. The extra O Ring has sorted that problem. I find 1.5mm drill bit makes a fantastic coil, a little more fiddly to get the cotton wool through, but a very good vape.
