Ok so i'll need more...but these testers would not be to actually vape as such, but more to get to know each individual on it's own merits, in terms of potency and flavour. I'm in no rush to get vaping on them as I have a shed load of juice around me. If it's to weak I can add more where as if I go over it's hard to take it away. It may all seem a bit time consuming and anal, but I was a bit like that when learning how to cook properly. I know it could take weeks, maybe months to learn what flavour needs what percent etc...but at the end I would know each flavour on a very up close and personal level. Each bottle would be labelled and tweaks noted in a book and on the spreadsheet I plan to create. Please keep the comments and suggestions coming..all are welcomed and duly noted. Im cr@p at spreadsheets looking at the one maccafan made for his coop Id like to see the mixology section have one too. Members access and edit facility enabled No chat, no review, just members name, brand name, concentrate flavour, and recipe. We could try them, then come back on the forum and give praise or a good ribbing whatever the case maybe. Im in to mixing for the pleasure of it but I have a no ready made juice policy so Ive to balance fun with quality control, Anybody fancy setting up a table ?

For the individual flavour testers...does 50 drips base to 1 drip flavour sound a good place to start? Some like drops, but the bottles always seem to have different dripping tips thus different size of drops. I like to keep it as scientific as poss and always use the 1ml syringe when measuring volumes of less than 5ml. Ill use a combination of the 1ml and 5ml when mixing larger volumes. I count the number of drips tested in the attie so Ive an idea how much remains of the mix before I tweak, I only do that if Im close to what I want. If im in doubt Ill draw of juice and transfer to a fresh bottle keeping it to the full ml. So Im not working with fractions of decimals. 50 1 is only 2% and might be a good place for some tobaccos from what Ive read. You realy need someone to stick there neck out to help you speed up the process and eliminate any doubt. If you doing fruits 15% and jumps each side of 2 or 3% soon narrows it down.

I get vg nic you can thin things down towards the final stages with a few drops of vodka or distilled water if its needed.
I mix 60/40 pg vg diluent together into a half litre bottle, From this I fill a 250ml litre bottle I use to mix with.
I dont get any wicking trouble and no longer put 5% vodka to the mix like I used to when I first started mixing.

The tobacco flavours are more difficult ones to do, At least thats what Im finding two days into steeping six different flavours mixed as stand alone.
Ive mixed at 3 5 and 9% and dripped a few drops on the attie each time and still not encountered any flavour.
Only just moved onto tobacco concentrates but I can see they are a different entity to none tobacco when it comes to mixing. Other flavours have been like adjusting the volume on a TV, The tobaccos Im doing at the moment is like searching for a station on the radio, Hope one or two of them start tuning in soon the uncertainty is doing me in, I would always try tobacco and other flavours on ther own first, The %ages of concentrates differ too much from flavour to flavour to expect to combine multiples without one drowning out the others.

I havent got a tank rebuidable, But do you think it could take a dressmakers pin down the centre to make it stiffer so it could possibly replace a mesh wick. Ive got a feeling it will slacken up once its juiced up, its something for you to conciser as you re recuperate and keep us in suspense. Iv some Irish cream here, tastes very good, you should treat yourself to a splash of the real thing, all ways helps with a cold, wrap up and get well soon. It could take a knitting needle I reckon lol. I think it will be a case of trying it in my Igo-L, its too thick for anything else which is strange because the normal 3mm silica wick and Ekowool will fit in a Vivi Nova but there is no way this so called 3mm stuff will fit in anything including my Aga-T2. I've not tried it, I can tell just from looking at it. Give it a shot, if its a total waist Ill have a stab at this www.wickstore.com/Products/Unbraided-Flat-Fiberglass-Yarn-18-10-Yards__UBG-9.aspx Edit: Scrap that ...<label for="ctl00_MainContentHolder_Shipping_ShippingRatesList_0">$43.00 - US Priority International Mail</label>

Cost wise i think i will stick to A4 address labels, i can also mess around with them more with images and font packages and all kinds of things, will just spray the labels or use clear Polyurethane tape, still looking for the best and cheapest option. They come off if you bath your juice bottle in warm water to speed up the steeping . I use paper labels but also number the bottles with a peppermint marker so they dont get mixed up when I tip them out of the soup flask. Yes soup flasks come in handy for warming yer juice, back on ebay with you.

I can give the bacon a quick review now. It is vile cr@%9 No good for vapin, The smell from the bottle is throwing up tackle and the vape at 20 15 and 10% gives a greasy sensation but fried bacon is a stretch of the imagination. Putrid is the best word to describe this stuff, I dont think taste is subjective on this one, it really is that bad. Can't say I'm surprised. Goes in the same section as crab juice. Ill boil the Igo and get on with the bacy ones tomorrow, hope the wick comes clean

I just bought a metre of this for £1.34 delivered which is a lesser amount of money to risk if it turns out to be no good. no harm in trying as long as it dosnt start giving off fibers I have used it on boilers but I have never gave it a thought on using it for vaping. Not sure about this one the question is what is the one we buy from vape shops originally used for or is it specially made for ecig use. I recon the ones we use are the same stuff they use to platt the big diameters used on boilers and furnace's. The ones we use do give of fibres if you let them get too dry, It good to give them a good sharp blow before you wet them and keep them wet. Im holding off to see what simons verdict is but it will have to be a damning review to stop me ordering a few meters.

Worth a try Ash . . . it couldn't be any worse than the great ' Basil Experiment ' surely? No indeed it can't be ... I am about to attempt tobacco leaf steeping however ... I grew some old horban seed I bought off e bay last year. It tasted nothing like, It was more like the little cafe cream cigars very mild but a definite cigar. I had about ten plants hanging in the green house curing through the winter but they hit the compost end of January, Ive just been up and checked the green house and found a plates worth of leaves on the floor, they are very dry and brittle but if your interested your welcome to them.

I've got a massive box of syringes, they are quite large though, i thought i was buying 10 at the time and it turned out to be something like 100 or 1000. I got them ages ago before vaping, so larger than those i've seen for mixing flavour etc. I don't mind sending you some if you want some freebies. Think they are 30ml syringes and don't have a needle on the end, and they are in a sterile packet. Thanks Jimmy, but I think they may be too large for the quanties I plan on mixing. Just tried using a 5ml syringe - the type with black rubber plunger - that was much easier to use. The type I originally tried had blue plastic plunger and very stiff to operate - won't be buying any more of those, even though they are cheap! I had a 1ml syringe cease up trying to pump out some lemon concentrate, dont know exactly what went on but I have heard that kind of juice can all so be a tank cracker.

Does anyone have a favourite make of syringe to suggest? I initially bought Terumo 10ml syringes from LTEcig, but I am finding them VERY stiff to operate, hence very difficult to use. You can buy 1ml and 5ml dispensing syringes at the chemist for about 60p. Is it stiff without a needle?
