Got you Oxo . . . I'd still say go for the 15ml size as the temptation with a large bottle, is to fill it. Very much like a wine glass. Your right on that one, but I do find the extra room allows the mix to breath Ive got mine filled up with 25ml now Im happy with the smaller samples. Something is bound to make it through past the steeping stage.

The last thing I'd recommend to anyone starting out mixing, is to make large volumes at first until they get a feel for their flavourings, mixing and their personal tastes Oxo. It's a recipe for disaster as a general rule to plunge straight in mixing up 30ml of something. If the 10ml bottles are too small for tweaking room, then 15ml is a better size. Im have not recommending large volumes, Im recommending large bottles. Nothing worse than mixing 5ml into a 5ml bottle only to find there is no space to write a label or so full it dont shake well. 30ml bottles cost the same give a penny or two. They dont fall over like skittles, and you can mix as little as you want, filling to capacity is not compulsory.

I would include 30ml empty bottles the 10ml ones are a bit small for a hand written label, plus there it a tendency to fill them right up making it difficult to give them a good shake.
Edit The link deegee posted has 30ml empty bottles Id go with that one.

Its better to just go with the flow and let someone else do the thinking.

Im going to order two random tobacco along with my next samplers, names and write ups mean little, its just going to be an experimental shot in the dark. If you want stick your neck out and give me two f'art tobacco flavours that I'll can order as samplers, In return you get to read my review of your suggestions. Blimey, that's a hard one but could be interesting. OK from the 'Tobak' range, Royal and Maxx Blend. I'm happy to do the same if you like. Mellow Sunset & Cowboy. Along with you two suggestions Im going to be ordering Reggae Night, the review reads like a disclaimer,

Im not sure the RY4 Nutzilla is a true tobacco flavour, Its more nuts with a hint of caramel and tobacco just about tasteable at times. I mixed at 20% found 15% was too weak, Farts have it listed under the Thats Nice Range. Ill have to get round to trying a stronger tobacco flavour Ill keep Golden rollie in mind, But I have found if they try to name a flavour to sound like a leading brand, it generally tastes duff, and dont have what it takes to stay in the market without subliminally linking to a successful leaf. It's not marketed as a true tobacco flavour, how you have described it is how it is supposed to be. 20% was far too strong for me, but that is the difference in taste. A reason why I am always reluctant to recommend a % for a flavour and tend to say start low and add more if you need it. Unless you go for something like a house of liquids or Frogsters mix made with leaf extract you will never get a tobacco that tastes like a brand, I like them for what they are, not what they are supposed to be (if that makes sense). Just orderd Dark rolled, golden rollie,RY4 Nutzilla and 30ml of 45mg bite extra after reading this thread :PCan anyone give me any tips as to percentages of flavouring used in a mix please?I have also never tried bite extra, any good? I just got a sample of this and it reminds me of something else, i know it has liquorice but i also bought the black jack flavour and the black cat seems to have something else i can't work out. Ive not tried the black cat, Im vaping black jack at the moment, Its liquorice and a aniseed mix Im pretty sure.

I would Cammy, too much and it tastes like rubber bands to me . . . I'd start with 10 drops to 10ml, you can always add a little more if you feel you need more of the flavour. Less is more with D de Leche I find anyway. If you're going to make a Fudge based mix, I'd add a couple of drops of Vanilla as well. So for example say I'm gonna mix it with some raspberry for a total 20% flavour - would my split be something like 13 rasp, 7 d de l? I know that I'll need to experiment with this but a good knowledge of where to start helps. Cheers C At 10% Its subtle like the flavoured spring water they sell in the supermarket. I could vape it for long periods at that strength. At 15% I found it as strong as a cordial drink, refreshing but I wouldn't want it all day. At 20% It was too strong after the fist drag the flavour died and didnt taste of anything. Your raspberry %age is about right but is 7% 'd de I' enough to make a stand alone? It sounds to weak. I would mix the flavours as stand alones then slowly add one to the other so you have tested tastable flavours combining that wont push the concentrate %age levels up into the high 20. The other benefit of doing it that way Its always a Volume volume mix that can be recorded and used on a e juice calculator. If you start adding concentrate afterwards It becomes a volume mass mix that is not so ejuice calculator friendly.

Some flavours dont give off a lots of vape.
Ive recently mixed lemon&lime at 60/40 raspberry 60/40 with not much vapour production.
The others I mixed on the same day with the same base give off plenty.
What flavour was you doing?

I set off with tobacco, I bought 4 bottle of different flavours, all tasted rank and put me right off them. Ive since decided to try once again and bought some ry4 nutzilla concentrate thinking it was a nutty tobbaco. I have to say its the best tobacco Ive tasted.

I mixed up some peach CCW yesterday, blooming lovely it is too What percentage did you use? Recipe please. I know it's only one flavour but I just can't get it right! You could try mixing at 20% in to make 5ml, and make up some flavourless nicotine base mix at the same mg Then using a 1ml syringe draw off 1ml of your CCW into another bottle, then draw off 1ml of your pre made mg base and add .02 of a ml at a time, testing a few drops in a dripper each time you add .02 of a ml. You will be able to calculate how much the 20% has been watered down but it wont be 100% accurate as you will have been testing from that sample. Not to worry you will still have 4ml to repete the process tomorrow, and the day after that or even next week, tweeking all the wy:) Ive got all my concentrates mixed and steeping in 30ml bottles they will all get this treatment, Ill loose a couple of ml on each finding out how much to dilute, but it will give me fist hand knowledge of what percentage each brand and flavour should be set off at for my personal taste. oxo
