Batteries can't be measured in hours, it always depends on how they are used. What is measured is the MAH, which is a measure of the stored energy. For instance the mini has about a quarter of the mah of the 50w, which should go About four times as long, with simmilar usage, between charges. The changing power reading is simply how a rechargeable battery behaves. They recover a little between power bursts. But if you keep puffing repeatedly then They don't get any recovery time and the power depletes faster.

The dna40 evolve battery meter is designed not to show power remaining, more as a health meter. It is telling you there is either a problem with the battery, or as has been suggested A poor connection somewhere.

Sadly it's not going to be that easy to sidestep. First up, we still don't know if governments intend to apply rules to zero nic juices, Secondly, "that can be used for" is the important part of the phrase you highlighted.

It would make more sense to stop posting on this thread and put your efforts Into a short letter to your MPs. That might actually help, rather than sitting on Hands and hoping for the best.

I doubt the tobacco companies would be interested in organising it, they would take over the industry under the TPD.

all good to hear im not far away ...just wonder why mod goes to 70w lol I can't think of a plug and play tank that is set to wick for 70w or above, but it can be done on RBT or RBD setups. A dripper is the easiest to setup for twice that kind of power (or more) which is why they are popular with cloud chasers.

TBH a 10w kick is out of date for any recent coils. They Were invented in the days when 2-2.4 ohms were considered standard. The idea was for it to boost the voltage on these higher resistances. On a more recent low ohm coil, to get it to run at 10w would require it To reduce the volts, which it can't do. For instance, a 1ohm coil, receiving a fresh off the charger 4.2 volts, will be Running at about 17W. In this scenario the kick is just taking up space in the tube.

If you take the kick out, you can also use the next size up battery.

The Danish inspired TPD was a cut n paste of article 20. they appear to be taking the most rigours interpretation. the first step being, everything needs to apply for market approval 6 months before going on sale. Which means a minimum of half a year with nothing available, then only those things that gained marketing authorisation, which may take another few more months to be granted (if ever).
how many countries need to do this before the legal market is so small its pointless making anything?
