The only regulated mod I own is a two year old SVD which never gets used.
I love my mechs but have to admit to wanting a regulated box.
Problem is I have not found the box which is pretty enough and within reach...
My next purchase will be regulated, looking for a 50W box at the moment. Possibly a sx zero clone.
Building my own is still something I'd love to do but never manage to start...

Have to say I'm loving this thread.
My ambitions to build my own box has been on hold for an eternity.
Got a soldering iron for my birthday (Which is in May) And I still haven't taken it out of the box.
Not content with soldering for the first time I am also wanting to make a wooden box.
Stay tuned in the New Year as there will probably be blood as I do woodwork for the first time, followed by burning as I lose my soldering virginity and toast my fingertips.
It may not be working yet Steve but it's still inspiring so don't give in.

As a long time billet box lover I'm so tempted.
They seem to have two different models one that comes with the 510 extension that means you can screw on an atty - Why choose this style of device if you aren't going to make use of it's internal tank.
The other come with a billet bridge clone which makes more sense to me.
And of all the funky colour schemes ... what made them choose brown!
I put one straight in the shopping trolley but keep on thinking I should hold onto that dream of getting an original which would be about £100 more.

Impatience got the better of me so I gave the 510 threads a very gentle going over with some extra fine wet & dry.
Still get nothing when I use a hybrid top cap but on a basic nemesis top cap it's working just fine.
Vapour production has been great from the start and the flavour is improving as the wicks bed in.
Found it to be a fiddly deck to work on, getting the negative leads secured took a couple of attempts but now I've got dual coils of 0.3 kanthal on (I think) 2.5mm rope wicks.
So far so good.
Only thing is I can't help thinking that it would be even better if I could turn the power up...but I don't own a vw mod that can handle it.
Next up is a Sat22 which is somewhere between here and China.
Thanks to VapingBad and Blakey - It would have driven me mad trying to find out why it wasn't working if you had not been posting.

Got mine in the ultrasonic now .... Arrived on Friday but my darling daughter had hidden it!
Not sure how I'll get the 510 clean... Oven cleaner is a fine idea if only we ever cleaned the oven

The Origen dripper is my all day vape device so couldn't say no to trying out the genesis.

With mine I have it working by spinning the plastic ring so that the side of the magnet which sticks to the battery is flush. I had to adjust this a few times as often it would be attracted to the battery and stick but was not actually making contact. This leaves a tiny portion of the magnet sticking out the other side. The button has a slightly raised copper ring that then will make contact with the other side of the magnet when you press it.
Hope that makes sense and you get it working soon.

A bargain price and the mod arrived in A1 condition. Could not have been a smoother transaction. for @hubcap

I'll take the Stingray if it's still available.
I'm at work so won't be able to sort out payment until this evening.

Great work. I think a small frame would be good for the display but think it would be fiddly as hell to make. Maybe you could get something 3d printed and spray it to match your metalwork?

You're not going to get the hot vape and huge clouds that a 0.2 build will give you but a good 1 ohm build should give you a great vape on the TOBH.
On mine I have built they coils at a slight angle so you get the maximum airflow.
I'm a big fan of the TOBH for dripping - The dome inside the atomiser is good for flavour and dripping is easy with the two piece top cap.

Got to agree with you. On Thursday I got the brass slowtech version and I'm loving it.
0.5ohm dual coils with cotton and using 2mg VG juice it's, by far, the biggest cloud making machine I've used.
Just wandering if I should give the polished cap a brushed look to match the Fortune.

Mine arrived yesterday.
A couple of runs through the ultrasonic cleaner and ready to go!
My first build isn't really doing much so I'm gonna have to experiment with the amount of cotton I'm using - So easy to set up with the thumb screws and non-conductive deck
Build quality wise I'm happy - Draw is a bit tighter than I'm used to but that's to be expected with the airflow coming from the base.
