Their Cinnamon Rolls is nice - I can never work out if I favour that - which has a more fiery cinnamon and dough taste to the sweeter alternative from Capella. Swedish Fish though.... well it fizzes and to me that was its only virtue.

Got my order quick. All the bottles full to the brim. Smelled heavenly...but what's this? I was sent the wrong concentrate! Contacted Terry, and he said keep it. We'll send you another post haste! Absolutely recommend. Now, if only you had an anise flavour. Inawera do one

Tobaccos, in my view, are the most difficult flavours to 'crack', because, you want to get as close as possible to a 'smoke' from a vape. Smoke is complex and many of the concentrates available are very monotone. I'll take my hat of to John ay FlavourArt UK for Golden Rollie, which manages to break this and to the Mom & Pop's from www.leisureliquids.com. The latter I think have tobacco extract in them. And the issue is - most steeped leaf product tastes sweet. Adding some DNB and malic acid can help with this - but the latter cracks cheap and nasty polycarbonate tanks. I have been 'playing' for months with home steeps and think, soon, I will have something reasonable mixed up

FA's espresso is a great flavour and also quite economical in use. If you want to caffeinate - you can buy pure caffeine in crystalline format and add this to your mix. You can get pure caffeine on places like EBay quite cheaply. Thanks Bryan. I never thought of adding caffeine crystals. Any idea how much to add? I do 2% - 5% by weight. Caffeine as well as adding errr... caffeine..also contributes to throat hit. Caffeine needs some care in handling in crystalline format, but is less toxic to humans than nicotine. There's some scientific info here www.sciencelab.com/msds.php?msdsId=9927475 once in solution it's easy to handle. It is frequently sold on places like EBay - athletes and body builders use it. If you are buying - check the purity levels: you don't want things like maltose in with it. Hope this helps. I mix up a 20% solution in PG in bulk and then use this in my mixes.

Thanks Roger I've mixed them both at 8% bumped the menthol up to sum where around 15 I think seems promising best just leave them steep a bit see what happens My problems every time so far is everything tasting perfumery or even dry I've tried and tried at the PVC recipe but that's just not worked for me seems to have been the worse I've attempted with the purfume thing I've tried chocolate fudge brownie that ended up dry as hell with no chocolate taste (tried adding em and steva no help) Tried sweet water melon , lemon n lime , sweet tangerine ,cherry, peanut butter, vanilla all from Capella with not much luck yet I tried des cool watermelon that came out ok I just wasn't keen on it as an allday vape which I'm looking for If anyone's got some good menthol recipes I'd love to get my hands on them , been surprised at the lack of reviews or recipes using menthol I found several FA tobaccos perfumey - one turkish was revoltingly so. If your vapes taste too dry, try using a VG heavy base and mixing in around 15% deionized water. The device you use and how hot it runs will also impact on dryness of flavour - a cooler vape will taste less dry. Hope this helps.

A great blend of tobacco and menthol is Mom & Pop's American Blend Menthol concentrate from www.leisureliquids.com . It's the closest thing to a menthol fag vape I have tasted and like a menthol fag has a balanced mix of tobacco and menthol flavour. I mixed at 20% (as recommended) and it was ready in a few days.

Decadent Vapours ~ Doppio EspressoI am a dark coffee lover, and this is my regular vape. I mix it at 20%, which is probably stronger than most people would like. It has a serious caffeine content. I've stopped vaping it in the evenings because it affects my sleep. The only thing wrong with it is the price. £3-49 for 10 mls makes it the major part of my vaping spend. If anyone knows of a cheaper good espresso I'd love to hear about it. 9/10 FA's espresso is a great flavour and also quite economical in use. If you want to caffeinate - you can buy pure caffeine in crystalline format and add this to your mix. You can get pure caffeine on places like EBay quite cheaply.

I have found that my ultrasonic cleaner doesn't achieve much in the way of steeping. What it is brilliant though, is mixing, particularly gloopy VG. Also some concentrates, even if it is added before PG/VG, seem to float to the top - the Ultrasonic cleaner seems to deal with this really well. I tend to put several bottles in at once and tie them together with an elastic band to stop them falling over. I also tighten the caps quite firmly.
Steeping only really works when concentrate and base are well mixed together and my ultrasonic cleaner can help with this.

I use a reptile tank heating mat (it's designed to go under the glass bottom of the tank) which has a variable control and generates between 5 W and 14W of bottom heat. Ihave a heavy plastic box on this (dissipates the heat evenly over its surface) into which I place my juices for steeping. It works.

Its the alcohol that creates the throat hit - vodka is used because of its purity / lack of sugars - Americans use pure grain alcohol. The higher the proof, the more potential for TH.

Capella Sweet Tangerine is true and tangy. For an authentic mild orange, try Inawera.

Vodka adds throat hit and at over 5% its very fierce. If you use Halfords deionised water its best to boil it first. To reduce the fierceness of the throat hit you need to get the final content below 5%... VG starts to get very watery if its total aqueous and/or vodka content is above 20%. Hope this helps.

I've made a few mixes now like strawberry cheesecake and rhubarb shortcake, but every time the fruit seems to overpower the bakery. My strawberry cheesecake was 12% Capella NY Cheesecake and 8% CCW Strawberry. The shortcake was 10% Capella Rhubarb, 10% PA Bavarian Creme, 3% Capella Graham Cracker and 2% Capella VC (from a recipe on Vapebook) - it's nice, but it's mostly rhubarb! What percentages do you guys generally use that work for you? Ditto to Perps, Sandra and esme, also I find that the longer they steep the bakery flavours develop more and the fruits become little more subtle. A few drops of MTS Vape Wizard helps blend everything together as well. Another ditto from me. PA's pie crust and waffle would disappear completely until I pre-steeped them. Some fruits are also very strong and I would advise premixing these (diluting in base) and adding drop by drop until you find the right balance
