I'm sure there is nothing wrong with the NV VCT coil and by all accounts the tank is okay (albeit behind the Atlantis, Sub Tank mini and Delta II) but have you not considered just getting a sub tank mini and a pack of the Kanger pre made coils? Here: myepack.co.uk/rba-pre-made-coils.htmlmyepack.co.uk/clearomizers/subtank-mini.htmlThe RDA deck on the sub tank mini really is easy peasy to fit a coil (you literally just loosen some screws drop it on and retighten some screws) and we are talking £35 here for a sub tank mini and a pack of 20 coils from myepack (significantly cheaper if you order from China) vs £23 and the comparison is something that might last a couple of months (assuming the NV coils are as good as the ones they use for the Kanger heads) vs something that would last years. You'll have to rewick both of them regardless. I dunno - I think it just pains me to suggest that £8 for a coil is a good deal

Heads are much better recoiled (wasn't really that keen on the stock ones at all) but the rebuildable base is a whole different ball game flavour and vapour wise - providing you like an airy draw that is (I do) as you lose the adjustable airflow and its pretty loose.

Vaporshark RDAN30, Subtank mini and Vaping King's King's Custard Yes I know, me, custard....what is the world coming to? dammit, am I the only one left who DOESN'T do custard juice ?? oh well, for that I'm on:- 1. hana DNA30 with PT-III clone (fasttech) with my homebrew ADV RY4 2. vamo v5 with PT-II ft clone and Gypsy King tobacco 3. X6 with RGM2 and blackcurrant menthol Still only do fruits and menthols during the day so not a complete convert GunJack (and if I had to choose one or the other, it would be my fruity vapes every time) but I was lured in by some custardy flavours (Nick's Blissful Brews Swag to start with) in last months Zamplebox and I've come to enjoy some sweetness in the evening. It might also be that custards seem to work very well lung inhaling on the new sub ohm tanks - at any rate I have developed a bit of a taste for them - have even mixed up some of that CLC stuff to try (just got to wait a month until its steeped now )

The koolada used to be optional although looking at the site now the premix seems to just come with it - its supposed to be recreating the ice lolly hence it uses koolada to recreate the cooling sensation.
I used to quite like the premix, although it gets a bit over sweet if you vape it for long periods.
I think premix is equivalent to 15% so I'd probably start there with the concentrate - if you want to add koolada remember less is more so try a few drops per 10mls first!

That is true from what I have read but mines been fine, well except the melting insulator....! What's you and Tom dislike of the full size, the air flow or the deck? Edit; how many watts you guys pushing these too? Mainly airflow. Now I've realised how easy the OCC head build is, I'm just going to use those on it. Considering a nano also The nano is a fab little tank - only bought mine on a whim as they were £13.50 from 3avape but its been seriously rivalling my Lemo drops for work. Looks the absolute business on a Vaporshark DNA30 or istick

Vapemunki's Spider Venom and Digbys Hooligan also have that medicinal flavour to them
Neither of which are terribly cheap however

I think this is swings and roundabouts to a certain extent and comparing home mixing (with a proven recipe that is) to higher end juices is perhaps not terribly fair - there is no real art in the actual physical process of mixing (beyond patience and accurate measurements that is) what you are paying for is someones time in developing blending flavours to a pleasant result - which anyone whose ever messed about with mixing as opposed to just following a recipe will know is far from easy.
As far as cheap juices go - well to be honest you can usually tell and the costs have usually been shaved on the concentrate front - if you are selling for a couple of quid per 10mls than your margin is pretty low and the corners have either been cut in the quality or the volume of the concentrates. Also worth remembering that most of the £9 bottles are US imports and thus if you take off the shipping and import tax costs that have been incurred by the vendor and bear in mind you normally get 15mls not 10 the price is pretty similar to mid tier UK juices (which are £4-5 per 10mls generally). With than taken into consideration I don't consider them too expensive really.
I vape a mixture of premix and home brew - basically if I can mix it I will do but if I can't I'm willing to pay if I like it - I don't really have the time to mess about experimenting - so I'm happy to mix one shots or a proven recipe but I'm never going to be developing my own flavours - I'd rather just buy a bottle where someone else has already done the hard work for me.
One unfortunate side effects of recent improvements in hardware is juice consumption seems to have gone through the roof - I remember in my early days I'd barely get through a 1.8ml CE4 during a day - these days using Subtanks or Lemos I normally clear a couple of 3-4ml tanks in a 24 hour period.

lairey - yes I was aware of that, but one of my main reasons for the upgrade was to save on constant recharging whilst driving (which I do quite a lot of during the week). That, plus the other factors like firing down to .03 and the battery length. dreamylittledream - thanks for the thought, but 2 days is no more than I would get from my iStick at present. The reason above, the 4400mah battery, is the main raison d'etre behind this decision, and the solidity of the mod itself. Ah well if its all about the battery fair enough Although surely the istick 50w also featuring a 4400 mah battery but in a somewhat small package should be considered Bias alert - I don't like MVPs - too big and clunky and awkward fire buttons

Fire and Ice is too harsh and lacks the sweetness of spider venom
Will try the above - sounds close but I think there is something else in there

Another option is the M36 (now 45) with an inbuilt 1900 lipo Its light, well built, tad too tall perhaps (i'm comparing it here to my Vaporshark and Cloupor mini) but it feels nice in the hand and the battery life is two days plus from usage over the last week. I really like it- oh and its £24 - shipping is about 7 days (after Chinese New Year of course) www.3avape.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=353

I love the aspire davide mega (Ancient I know) But this is not even girlie enough to be considered entry level Aspire you've done a boo boo! Aspire didn't make the Davide - that was by Anyvape (although they have some links between the companies - much like eleaf and Joyetech I think) Anyway this mod has been seriously hit with the ugly stick - Aspire should stick to making tanks I think

And I STILL know/love Spectrum Basic The ZX Spectrum with it's dead flesh keyboard, oh the fun I had waiting for the cassette tape to load Manic Miner, the thrill when it finally loaded on and I was greeted with the theme tune 'The Hall of the Mountain King'. Meh C64 for the win Mainly for the various superstitions me and my mate used to go through to ensure that games actually loaded after the ten minute wait. Kids those days etc etc lol
