At work this morning having a cheeky vape on the steps outside, when a man arrived for a training session we were running and he was vaping away. I asked him what he was using and it was an MVP. I told him I'd been recommended that one and he let me have a fiddle with it. It does feel comfortable to hold so I'm going to go for it!
Payday at midnight - I've already got the MVP in my myepack cart to be ordered first thing in the morning, with Saturday delivery! Touchwood, my Spinner is still giving an hour or so of vape for about 3 hours of charge, so here's hoping I get another day-and-a-half of use from it.

I'm working my way through their little bottles and have found quite a few are very mild, then again I tend to order when I'm running low on juice so don't steep them long enough. I'll have to go back to the ones I think had promise, order early and give them a good steeping time.
I think I gave the Pistachio about 2 weeks. The Gingerbread (my favourite vape ever!) is powerful stuff straight away and so is their Menthol, that one steam-cleans your brain I think!
I'll be ordering some 30ml Menthols this weekend. I couldn't vape it all day, but I'm starting to get vaper tongue and a bit of a sniffle and that juice cleans it all up a treat, so useful to have a supply at hand.

thanks for that Saturnalia also is there a way to change resistance? That's to do with the coils. You can buy them at different ohms and there are plenty of people on here who know how to re-wick & wire their own.

I wash all other parts of the tank with washing-up liquid but the coils get a soak in hot water and denture tab. If you like strong or dark juices then it might take a day or two of soaking to get the wicks clean again, but it does work.
I'm currently using Superdrug own-brand Essentials denture tabs (white tube with 3 pink stars on it). They are very cheap and the best ones I've tried.

I found this chart on Vapertrain earlier, it may come in useful. vtpics.vapertrain.com/voltagechart.jpgI don't know anything about how dual coil set-ups work though. The total ohms resistance would depend on whether the coils were in series or parallel, if I remember rightly.

The best cleaning method I have found is what's usually recommended on here - an overnight soak of the coils in hot water and denture cleaning tablet. For dark coloured or strong flavoured juices I find that soaking the coil heads for a couple of days brings the wicks up clean and white again. It varies, just keep looking in the pot to see how clean the wicks are getting.
Just a warning - you can clean the entire tank/clearo this way, but is the ring below the drip-tip black metal? The denture tabs will take the black off it. Just wash that under the tap with washing-up liquid if you want to keep the colour. Everything but the coil can be washed with washing-up liquid and will come up fresh and shiny. Just take care with the glass tube, I have broken a few when they shot out of my soapy hands and hit the sink!
Definitely a good idea to have a little box of spare glass tubes and coils. If you don't have many coils, you can bet your life they will all conk out simultaneously at the worst time they could choose to!

I'm thinking of buying the iTaste VV as well, and the best deal I have found so far is £21.94 on myepack. £19.99 for the vaper & charger, and £1.95 for standard delivery. On Innovapours it is £24.95: £19.50 then an extra £2.50 for the charger, and £2.95 shipping. Hope that helps!

Myepack has the VV V3.0 including the charging cable for £19.99, and the MVP V2.0 with the cable and an iClear 30 for £35.99. I've been having a look around for basic batteries and, unless I go to ebay and buy goodness-knows-what, they are all in the £10-15 range so I might as well get the VV and know I'm getting quality kit from a decent supplier!
I am swaying more towards the MVP, it's got consistently brilliant reviews and it probably won't take too long to get to grips with the box shape. At that price it would be rude not to!

It's been an eventful week in vaping. First my cheapy beginner battery stopped working, then a few days later my beloved rainbow Vision Spinner started playing up! It won't charge fully and needs to be topped up every couple of hours. I'm desperately hoping it keeps limping along until payday this Friday - I'm too skint to buy anything until then! So I've been browsing around for what to go for next, and I like the look of the iTaste VV v30 myepack.co.uk/innokin-itaste-vv-v3-0-express-kit.html Would you recommend it? I see the MVP gets lots of good reviews on here too, and isn't that much more expensive. I think I would prefer the shape of the V30, but if the MVP is a much better device, I suppose I would get used to the new shape pretty quickly. If you have/had the V30 or the MVP, has it served you well? How long has it lasted? The Spinner has only lasted 5 months, I know batteries do die but was expecting a bit longer from it, especially since the cheap one that just died was bought around the same time. If I use it with the passthrough, is this done with the charging cable that comes with the battery or do I need a different cable? And will I need a different wall socket adaptor or will my normal one do the trick? At the moment, I use a Mini Protank. Will this work well with the Innokins? I've also had my head turned by the Smok Tumbler www.ukecigcabin.com/product/smok-tumbler It looks like a gimmick but it gets good reviews. Has anyone used one, and is it worth the money? Lastly, I guess I'll need another back-up battery. Just a basic model for light use would be fine. Any suggestions on what to get/avoid? (My last one was one of the £7 Paradise Vape blister pack ones that were often recommended for beginners on here, but they don't seem to do those any more.) Thanks for reading all that!

Aargh, after this one going bad, my rainbow spinner is going the same way!
I can keep it on the charger all night and the light is still red in the morning. Then after about 2 hours of use, it dies. Charging it for an hour provides about another 15 minutes of use. It is a 1300 mah and up until a couple of days ago, it would charge fully in about 3 hours and last the entire day. I know batteries don't last forever, but I expected more than 5 months out of it. For the record, the other battery that died this week was a £7 Paradise Vape starter-job, bought around the same time as the vision spinner. Not good.
I've tried everything: different chargers, different usb ports/wall sockets, tightening and loosening it on the charger, scrubbing the contacts until they shine. But nothing is working.
Just hoping it keeps limping along until Friday as that's when I get paid and it's been such a tight month I can't afford a replacement until then! icon_shoppingm Consoling myself by window-shopping for replacements. The iTastes look good and have good reviews, as well the vision spinners have dropped in price from when I got mine.

Hi all,
I chucked my battery and charger in my bag this morning and on getting to work, found out I had forgotten to switch it off. It now has its light on for 3 seconds, light off for 2 seconds, 3 quick flashes, light off for 2 seconds then on again for about 6 seconds, in a cycle.
I've tried putting it on charge and it appears to charge as normal, but the problem persists when taking it off charge.
Pressing the button myself doesn't do anything and I can't turn it off.
I take it the battery is broken beyond repair, but what to do with it now? It isn't making any heat while the light is flashing, should I leave it to drain itself of power before disposing of it?

I'll be there for about 7.30. Would have loved to come earlier but something else I'm doing has been rescheduled.

I always have a fly vape on the train! It feels good for some reason.
Tip your head down, take small puffs, keep the vape in your mouth for a few seconds, then blow it slowly downwards and there is very little vape to be seen.
