Ooh dear, I'm the fussy old woman of the bunch with mine!
I wash them in hot-as-I-can-stand water under the tap several times, try to blow out most of the remaining stuff, soak them all day in a denture tab, wash under the tap again, then soak in water for about an hour. Then I blow out the liquid again and stand them upright on the windowsill to dry.
Next morning I blow on them again and vape off the water.
I'm also addicted to dry-burning them and if a lot of crud burns off, it smells all burnt and nasty so I repeat the soaking in denture tab and in water.
Don't you lot find that if you don't dry them out, you get a lot of bubbling noises and no vape?

I forgot to add, I'm also saving money and improving my health as I use sweet flavour juices and it is stopping me wanting any sweet food. There have been loads of cakes & biscuits in my office this week and I've hardly bothered with them. In fact I bought a pack of Thornton's chocs in Poundland on Monday and they are still unopened. Even my Pepsi Max addiction has fallen by the wayside.

Thank you for the juice Siffy, it came today. I haven't tried it yet but I've had a sniff of it and it smells delicious. I wouldn't have guessed candyfloss from the scent though, there is definitely some other familiar confectionery smell in there that I'm racking my brains to think what it is.
Hello Beatnik & Astralsteph! Gorgeous Westie there. My sister has one who is the sweetest dog ever but daft as a brush.

*Laughs* I'm the same! I've spent about £35 in the last couple of weeks on very basic stuff to start me off and winced a little at £9 for an e-cig, £12 for juices... but when I smoked 10 a day I was spending £25 a week on that without a second thought.
I keep a note in my diary of what I have spent on vape stuff too, and I figure that since I wasn't bothered about paying for cigs, as long as what I have spent on vaping is less than my signature banner says I've saved, I'm still winning.
That and the fact that the health benefits of not smoking are beyond price.

It was the same the weekend before last Moodyb, they were quoting 2 days delay but I ordered on the Saturday and my order turned up on the Tuesday or Wednesday, I forget exactly which. It was quick anyway.

Great post! And can I add, from my extensive google search, that nictoine acts as an anti depression aid. Many doctors, it seems, prescribe anti depressant s for those going cold turkey. I became very depressed reducing my nicotine (have never suffered from depression in my life) lesson learned, won't be doing that again! That is interesting! I was showing off my e-cig to a friend the other day. She is a mental health nurse and she said that almost all of the patients she has treated have been heavy smokers. She's often wondered why when cigarette smoking among the general population is becoming less and less common. Does the nicotine (or something else in tobacco) ease the mental health problem, is having a smoke break a psychological prop, is the repetitive hand-mouth action of smoking calming them, or something else? She's also wondered whether tobacco can trigger MH issues in people who have that tendency, but has never been able to find any research to support or contradict that. She said the only group that she had noticed that never smoked were MH patients who also had autism conditions, as they tend to be very hypersensitive to smells and tastes so wouldn't be able to stand it. A lot of her patients also used a lot of cannabis, cocaine and/or alcohol, which stands to reason as these have strong effects on the mind and probably would mask symptoms very well, but nicotine doesn't have the same effects so it's strange how that one fits into the picture.

Oh, thank you very much! :DI'll send you a pm. I bet cotton candy is lovely for a relaxing summer evening vape session. Have you had any sharp sour citrussy flavours? I was thinking today that something like bitter lemon would hit the spot on a hot day. Oooh dear, I can see this being an expensive hobby! I have tried citrus, as Paddy Mcguiness would say, no likey. I can even do the accent, coming from Bolton myself. Will pop the candy foss flavour in the post for you, hope you enjoy it. Thinking about it, I bet citrus is hard to get right. Too sharp and it would be like smoking Cif! (Not that I ever have smoked Cif.)

It just gathering dust my end. I fancy trying liquorice tobacco flavour, next time I place an order. I can imagine your friend to be over the moon for you! You must be made up too. I have my own cleaning (and ironing round) you know what I find the best? White vinegar, just brilliant especially round here, in a hard water area, cut right through lime scale. The smell does get on my nerves a bit mind you, after a while. Mr muscle went down hill when they changed it and removed the orange oil that was in it, in my opinion anyway. Vinegar is excellent. You could almost slice the tap water here, and I boil half-vinegar/half-water in the kettle every few months to get the limescale off the element. It means we don't need a new kettle every six months and avoids the crunchy bits in the bottom of the drink as well.

I noticed something else interesting earlier tonight.
I have a terrible sweet tooth. That's why I bought all candy flavoured liquids. And I suddenly noticed I hadn't had a sweetie craving for several days now. The sweet vape seems to be scratching that itch! Nice side effect and I hope it stays.
I've been on the LTecigs liquorice today and that stuff is fantastic. I'm going to order it in a lower nic strength next time though as it is fiendish, I could chain it for hours!
I was out with a friend today and I showed her my ecig and she was thrilled to bits for me getting off the cigs. And she was impressed with how the vape didn't leave any smell, and giggling at the huge clouds of vapour I made.

Thats really strange isn't it siffy for us both to give the same descripton, saturnalia i think it must be because in the past when we've stopped smoking we have still had the cravings so smelling ciggy smoke was nice, but as the nic in our juices is keeping the cravings away therefore we are just getting the horrid smell, one of my sisters was out with us last night & shes still smoking & as vaping is not allowed in our club we were all huddled under under our brollies & the smell of her cig smoke was like being in a chemical plant YUKKK! That theory makes a lot of sense to me. I think also on the same lines is that usually when quitting smoking we're depriving ourselves of the physical habit as well as suddenly stopping nicotine. All those times we would normally have a cig and on stopping, we have nothing to do with our hands. But with an e-cig, we can vape away on it in all the same situations we'd normally reach for the stinkies. And we can reduce the nic at our own pace if we want to. So it doesn't feel like quitting "the filthy habit", because we're only quitting the filth part and keeping the enjoyable bits.

Dinamic, now Elbow Grease is sorted out, do they also sell round tuits? I always have lots of things I should be doing, but I can never seem to get a round tuit.

Hi & welcome, re what you were saying about the smell of ciggy smoke i have dont that before walked behind someone to get the smell when i've been trying ti stop, but like you now i think it smells disgusting, proper chemical smell & i never thought i'd say that so that makes me believe i have stopped for good this time I wonder if we get a mind shift? I get the feeling you have you know, you seem to be showing all the signs (from my hours of google research) Funny too as the cigs I had Fri pm and Sat am tasted of chemical, not plesant at all. Yes it was weird how the smell of smoke made my stomach lurch, when not-even-a-fortnight ago I was smoking. I know they say that former smokers can't tolerate smoke, but I didn't realise it would happen so quickly! It never has every other time I've tried to kick the habit. Everything just feels different this time, I believe in myself that I can stay away from stinkies as long as I have vape.

Hello and a big vapey Saturnalia If you want clearos with a long lifespan, try Innokin iclear 16s (CE5) i'm still using the original heads after 5 months, many others will tell you the same, they are excellent clearos I will have a look out for those, thank you! I've seen people mention Innokin on here but didn't know what they were. So much still to learn!

Well, that budget will be blown pretty quickly. I currently rotate 6 clearos with none free for washing. Ordered another 18 more, but they will be for back-up purposes, lol (when ordering from China, I just stacked a heap in there). Good luck... p.s. You have been stopped longer than me, yet avoided around half as much, lol. My current spend in the last 11 days has been closer to £300 though. Wow, what have you been buying? I've just gone for the cheapie kit to start me off, gives me time to read up and save up before I need to replace & upgrade it. And hey, I may have avoided fewer stinkies, but I've only spent £29 on vape stuff so far, so I'm still ahead of myself money-wise!
