I bought an innokin itaste v3 from Vapour Room at the end of August because they had the best deal I could find on the chameleon version. No issues whatsoever with the purchase process. Unfortunately, the battery stopped working 3 weeks later. I e-mailed Vapour Room, on the advice of forum members, and received excellent service - returned offending article by post on Wednesday, replacement arrived today (Friday). Big thanks to Mark on the faults and returns team who has been extremely helpful throughout.

Update. I took the advice, e-mailed the vendor, was told to send the battery and charger back which I did on Wednesday, a replacement arrived today. Well happy, thank you all because I would have written it off (as I said earlier bad first experience). I can only say that the Vapour Room team have restored my faith in vaping vendors, Mark on faults and returns couldn't have been more helpfull and kept me updated by e-mail throughout

I'm using the Smoks as well Smokeybebe and, like you much prefer glass to plastic but I am finding them a bit dribbly! They aren't so bad if you don't overfill them but there is a fair amount of unscrewing and tissue paper involved with their use. charon I think you may have hit the nail on the head but how do you 'wick an atty out'? I also have a couple of mini protanks and a mini davide but the smoks have a bit of metal protection and come in lots of colours for different flavoured juices.

I've been pressing the button willy nilly - the real learning curve is in the timing I believe (lesson for life there!). I am am now trying to get my head round the voltage/resistance/wattage charts, graphs and things that were updated recently so came into the radar. Even without tweaking this thing has improved my vaping experience no end - sticking on a well used atomizer with well used juice is a completely different experience. The excitement of vaping is that there is always a next step - that's also the biggest drawback as it all gets a bit expensive!

Quick update - I took your advice sleepyduck and Perpetua and e-mailed the vendor. I wasn't going to as my very first (very expensive) purchase was considerably less than satisfactory and my subsequent experience with the vendor left me feeling that it really wasn't worth the effort. I have had a much more positive response on this occasion and the offending battery is now on its way back to where it came from. If the outcome is positive - even if they tell me that, sorry, I did something stupid and it was my fault but in a nice way - then I will post a thank you to the vendor. As an aside, I decided that I should probably get hold of something into which I could stick proper batteries so I've just acquired a Sigelei Z Max. At the moment I'm a bit overwhelmed - it arrived all set up and has made a huge difference to the existing bits and pieces I have attached to it but I haven't got the foggiest idea how to work it - I'm off to You Tube now. artfunk54 before you buy another itaste check out the reviews of the vv/vw mods on here.

Not all the queued comments have been posted! I didn't really say anything more controversial than that I have now, for the first time in over forty years, stopped being a smoker and really don't want to be forced back into it - I'm an addict, I know I can't give up nicotine, the approved methods haven't worked, vaping seems to have done the trick. Why are they blocking comments? The comments that showed up were posted last night I think. Maybe they only do a few at a time. I am not sure how they are moderating the comments there. But those from yesterday just suddenly showed up all at once late afternoon. its odd, but maybe its manually moderated and the moderator has limited time and is doing a few at a time. I hope it shows up later tomorrow or something. I posted about 7.30 last night to say I'd voted so that would be after I tried to post a comment; maybe they don't want too many pro comments! I also followed your suggestion to 'like' the comments already posted - the first one I tried reverted to 0 - I just got out quick!

Thank you for the very quick responses. I have now e-mailed the vendor; I had a bad experience early on buying something that didn't work at all and finding the vendor less than helpful but I have been encouraged by many of the posts on this forum. I did kind of hope that good batteries might last a couple of years maybe? I read in another thread about lifting the centre pin - I tried that but am not sure if it actually moved or not. I was vaping (and impressing friends and relatives who didn't believe I would ever stop smoking) when it just stopped; I thought it had run out of charge so plugged it in and no light, nothing, zilch! It wasn't the foreign voltage as my v2 charged quite happily with an adapter and I figured the pin wouldn't effect charging because the itaste charges from the base.

I'm really impressed by the cool banner with the 'how long vaping' and 'how much saved' shown at the bottom of lots of posts - can anyone have one or do you have to be a member for ages?
