As you are working with 10ml bottles and aiming at a low finished nicotine content(3mg) the first thing i would do is work in drops rather than ml This would involve filling a small dropper bottle with your 72mg VG and allow it to reach room temp You then need to work out the number of drops per ml you get from this bottle - writing the number on the bottle--keep this bottle at room temp not in the fridge It is very important that you get the true number of drops per ml from your bottle and you must do this with the room temp VG 72mg NOT water Then input this number into a mixing calculator in the section marked drops per ml this should make life simple For example if you are getting 20 drops per ml you would then add 9 drops to your bottle of nicotine free e-liquid in order to give you around 3mg finished strength Thanks cigeliquid, I don't really understand why a 1ml syringe wouldn't be good enough though. That could be due to sleep deprivation causing my brain not to work, or I may just be quite stupid If I need 0.4ml nic, what's the difference between measuring 0.4ml in a syringe and counting out the number of drops that amount to 0.4ml? I don't know how I'd work out how many drops make up 1ml anyway. A 1ml syringe will work fine but may result in more time and effort for example washing up You may also over the long term expose your larger bottle of vg 72mg to more oxygen as each time you reach for it gently shake it then remove 0.4ml you will allow fresh oxygen to enter. Ref: measuring drop size per ml - take 1ml syringe add 1ml to dropper bottle ( any size bottle will do) replace drip tip and invert the bottle gently squeeze and count the drops till all liquid is gone.

Yep, take the bottom pin out, pull out the silicone bung, push a small screwdriver out from the base of the head which will remove the old coil and wicking. Make the new coil and insert from the top, until both legs come out of the bottom of the head. Move the coil up or down until you can see it through the holes and the coil is in lime with both holes. Insert a drill bit or small screwdriver through the hole and then through the coil so it comes out the opposite hole, thus holding it in place. Slip the silicone grommet over one leg and push the grommet into the head, put the metal bottom pin back in, thread your wicking material through the hole and the coil and out through the other hole, fluff it up so that both holes are completely full, snip of about a couple of mm outside each hole. Trim the excess legs of very flush to the base of the head, job done! xantivenxmThis will work on the older horizontal coiled heads BUT The subox kit comes with the new improved vertical coils

This might help Start off slow. We all have bottles of pre made e-liquid that can best be described as not keen on. Take offending bottle and add a small amount of a flavouring that might improve it or if the flavour of the pre made is to strong add some unflavoured base Within weeks or even days you will become a mixing god/goddess

If one day customs do stumble on an order going through would you just have to pay the charges or would it get seized ? I thought I read somewhere the legal limit for nicotine liquid in UK was 72mg ? It is indeed 72mg markus . . . anything higher then you need a Poisons Licence to import it. If any parcel attracts Customs attention, that isn't an illegal import then you'll be liable to pay excess duty and a handling charge from PF. Notification of which you get via a card from your postie. Or if it's a tracked parcel, then you can do the necessary payments online I think - though I've always toddled off to the Sorting Office paid up/collected my parcel at the same time. The UK nicotine limit is 75mg You may also get an invoice/bill for vat/duty handling from a courier company as some send them a few weeks after delivery

Think we will be safe for another few years maybe another 2-3 but not 7 years At the moment we vapers are Guinea pigs doing free testing for both Big p and big T saving them billions with no comeback Once they have finished using us and providing the long term results are good my bet is they will take full control with the help of the tax man. You will always be able to get black market supplies but only if the punishment is very small. Example 1 : Your shipment gets stopped by customs and you then have to pay the duty owed = large number risk it Example 2 : your shipment gets stopped by customs and you get fined a few hundred pounds = very few risk it Example 3 : your shipment gets stopped by customs and you get 6 months plus a few thousand pounds fine = organised crime only

Last time I asked they said they would not sell RY5, RY6, HS Delight, HS Storm, HS Impulse, and HS Menthol Sensation in DIY flavour concentrates but i will ask again Have you asked again? After forgetting to ask i did enquire and Hangsen have now replied. Sorry for my late reply since we are on Chinese National holiday. I am afraid we don't sell flavor concentrate for premium flavors including RY5,RY6 and HS series flavors.

Yea I think they will take the hit and tax somewhere else if need be. I honestly can't believe that anyone can sit round a table and say they need people to die younger as its costing too much money. Why did up the age limit and get stricter with ID, why did they ban it in public places? No tax incentives there. Most things we enjoy are taxed e-liquids is not going to remain untaxed for ever As soon as they get vapeing into a nice little box with only a few main players controlling the market they will tax it and tax it hard but at the moment we are safe till after 2016

For long term storage 1 You are best to store long term in glass bottles rather than plastic as glass is a fantastic oxygen barrier and will not leach ---- but on the other hand if you drop a glass bottle 2 keep all your liquids cool and out of sunlight -------- if you have bucket loads of nicotine base then use a freezer and remember to label it 3 if you come back to any liquid/flavour that has sat in a cupboard for a year or two give it a shake and a sniff if smells rank then bin it.
Nicotine base will darken and may/will develop a smell over time but the smell should not be vastly overpowering or repugnant- The stronger the DIY nicotine the darker it will tend to turn PG should have little or no smell and be clear like water VG should have little or no smell and be clear like water
Best colour glass to store nicotine base in to avoid light damage Best- brown Good -Blue Not good - green, clear
Use by/best before date for e-liquids assume you are not going to take care of the liquid
