Quite simply ... If you set the power I.e watts ... It will give you a constant vape as the battery slowly drains .. If you set the voltage the watts will drop in line with amps as the battery goes from full to empty ... {that's dragging up o level physics from 35 yrs ago so may need correcting } !! Sorry, that's nonsense. The resistance of the atty being fixed (a bit of a simplification, but it's independent of the battery) the power and the current across the coil(s) depends directly on the voltage. If you have a variable voltage device it holds the voltage (and therefore both current and power) through the coil steady even as the battery's output voltage drops, just as much as 'variable wattage' does. (The current through the battery is a different matter, but again it's the same in both cases - variable wattage devices are just cleverer at helping you get the right constant voltage)

I've got big hands, like off-the-shelf clearos and love the box

No disagreement here (though I have a ZMax rather than a Vamo... closer to the Provari but only in its crappy usability)

So the bottom-coil iClear clearos are getting nearer to launch.
What batteries go in these stupid grenade things - anyone know?

Please don't call it a law. It's a draft for the Council stage of a proposed directive which, if it became a directive would prompt a national law.

I dearly wish that someone had made a thread titled 'Leaked draft from Council stage of TPD' and people would search on 'TPD' before making yet another thread.
Edit: Or continued one of the umpteen existing TPD threads
Edit2: Stickying and re-titling the already-merged one might help
Edit3: If ProBoards stopped one linking the same YouTube videos and PDFs without a warning this would also help

Variable wattage adjusts the voltage relative to the resistance of the attached atty so that the same (more or less) power is dispensed whatever you attach.
The power is what is converted from electrical form to others (primarily heat) so is the best electronic measure of how much juice is getting vapourised per second.

Signed, despite my reservations about also being represented by a (smaller) industry-funded lobby group.
Please also give @lindamcavanmep some stick on Twitter - she is a liar, pure and simple

Naive question: is a Kayfun-style atty not better than a Genesis if you're sure you want to stick with wick?
I really didn't get along with Genesis-style RBA (in fact I'd be happy to pass on an Aga-T2 if someone wants a go)

I've a real worry about the branding of 'Totally Herbal' too - I get asked often enough if I'm vaping 'herb' without them muddying the waters further

Sorry, I've no ability to do so or I'd have moved mine (I also commented before I realised there were several threads)
