What they're trying to say is that VV and VW are both achieved by changing the voltage over the coil - functionally they're the same.

With different atties, though, a given voltage may have a way different effect.

In VW mode the voltage that's applied is computed relative to the resistance across the coil so 7W on an iClear will give something much more similar to 7W on a Protank.

Sorry to say it, but I really resent the 'us and them' attitude on these boards sometimes.
