Strong desert flavours: www.vapingking.co.uk/category/desserts/I love monkey jizz, very tasty and creamy banana and custard, and I'm yet to try the others but have heard good things, especially kings custard and mdv666 (raspberry cheesecake). All are on my to-buy list for February. And I've just realised it's payday! I'll be right back...

Menthol (not peppermint or spearmint), eucalyptus, honey or other very sweet liquids, chilli, tangy/sour flavours (the citrus in Tmax snake oil is very subtle) salty licorice - you wont taste much licorice but you'll taste the salt. Forget about vanilla, aniseed and most other flavours - they're detected in the nose rather than on the tongue. I hadn't thought about this - only the tongue flavours will work, of course. That means I'm stuck with uber sweet pineapple and cola from my selection, unless I start shopping... Thanks everyone - some really useful suggestions.

I'm the same - once my Russian clone arrived from vaporbreak, I found it really difficult to go back to clearos because the flavour was so much better. I'd been practising coiling on protank heads, not very successfully, but I found the kayfun a doddle by comparison.
I now have a selection of different rebuildables and I enjoy the coiling. However, I wouldn't have said that when I first started making them - fiddly and frustrating would better sum it up!
There are a couple of clearos that give great flavour, so there isn't a real need to recoil if it's not for you, but my experience is that it's worth persevering with in the long run.

I have a cold I can barely taste anything, so I'm trying to stay away from my favourite custardy juices. However, it got me thinking about what juices are good when you are feeling sniffelly, and I thought I'd ask for your thoughts. I have red astaire on the go at the moment, I'm not getting much berry but the anise is still there. I'm going to try snake oil and some joosejuice peppermint as well. Maybe gingerbread? I don't think any others will cut through the snot. Any other suggestions, what have you tried, what works, what doesn't...

Mines set up exactly the same as yours. I think thats as good as it gets. Havent tried mesh yet tho either. Its plenty good enough for my pub vape tho as it is. Had mine about 3 days and built it about 15 times. Lmao. Silica just doesnt wich right at all does it? Sent from my GT-I9300 using proboards Nice to know I'm doing it right, or at least the same as others! The vape from it got a lot better as the day went on, but I have a sickly cola flavour in it and I had to stop vaping Im going to try tomorrow with some better juice and see how we go, and see if I can loosen that draw.
Ive never had much success with silica builds in anything, so wasn't expecting great things, but it was really dry and yucky. Much prefer my cotton!

Consider putting the juice you don't like in the classifieds section here - you should get some money back that way! I like my sweet flavours, so I'm not much help on tobacco-a-likes. However, djs is a fan of these sort of juices so I've tagged him here. I'd suggest having a look at t-juice - they do tobacco, and you should try the red astaire whilst you are there! Berries (and menthol) but not sweet. As you say, there are loads of juice providers out there, so the right juice will find you soon. Stick to ordering small amounts until you find the one.

Thank @freefromsmoking - I'll add mesh to my next order, but I'll persevere with cotton feeders in the meantime - they're certainly wicking better than the silica! I've rebuilt it 4 times since 11am this morning, and I think it's vaping ok now. I've got some cheap juice in it, I always run something expendable through a first tank, no point wasting your fave juice when it floods or leaks! We'll see how it does with something decent next time.

Tagged @freefromsmoking for you, think he has his setup great. Sorry mate, it's the Taifun GT that I have, not the GS
Ahhh - my GT is on the slowboat. Thanks for the vid, ill have a watch but I don't have any mesh at the mo. using cotton wool is working but the pieces have to be really thin to get it wick consistently. It's a bit of a tight draw as well, I'm going to try one of the other airflow rings when I'm through this tank.

This is one of those weird ones that, to me, tastes better in a protank at lowish power than in a kayfun on a mech. I think you loose some of the aroma somehow at a higher power, not sure of the science but just my feeling on it!

It'll never happen - they can't afford it! It's asking teachers to increase their hours by, what, a third as well as slashing their holiday, plus the extra marking and lesson prep, plus the support staff hours, plus running and maintenance costs. And there's no way the teaching unions will support a conservative-led idea that has not even considered of the impact on staff. Never going to happen. If there were more staffed voluntary after school activities that weren't necessarily led by teachers, giving children a chance to participate in sports, computer based activities, art and music and provided them with a proper meal, then you might have the start of a workable idea. That's if the government fund it, and it will be expensive. Woah, sorry for the rant

Thanks Super-Shiny - actually, this set up isn't too bad but still lacking in punch compared to my kayfuns. I don't want to compare apples and oranges, but I'm sure it can be better than this.

I've dealt with wight both as a buyer and a seller, and everything has been spot on. Prompt payment as a buyer, and super fast delivery as a seller. Recommended.

My taifun gs arrived today, fresh from the classifieds (thanks wight!) I'm trying to find a good wicking method, as I am having some teething trouble. My current set up is a microcoil with cw fanned out in the base, and then two tiny cw pieces wicking into the base. It's working ok, but the flavour is quite muted. I've tried sticking the cw straight through the holes, but got big dry hits (enough to melt the cw - yuck) and tried a silica wick with silica feeders - very muted and dry. Ive read about mesh feeders, but I don't have any mesh. Has anyone got one and found the ideal set up?
