Different strokes for different folks jeffc - vape and let vape. Anything can be done without courtesy, like the guy who brings left over fish pie to heat up in the microwave in the open plan office at work (stinky!) but that doesn't mean that no one should eat fish pie anywhere. For me, coils around 1 ohm float my boat, not that it matters too much in a regulated mod. |

They look great, much more robust than the 20w version although time will tell. I've got a cloupor mini on order - I hope that was the right choice!

Just noticed you've got serial number 007 - nice! They can't be selling very many if you've picked up numbers that low.
They sound very similar to my Xpolras, with a different form factor.

I'll be Interested to know what you think 300 - especially how the draw is compared to a spheroid (or is it adjustable?). Do you have a 16mm mod that it can hybrid on to? I'm curious if the hybrid would work on a G16 for example, or if it is just the Fakir mod. Not that I need any more 16mm atties, although that hasn't stopped me buying stuff in the past! |

Just when I thought I'd solved my shinyitis, I catch a related disease - box syndrome. I've hardly used anything except my iStick since Christmas, for convenience it's hard to match, and now this looked too tempting to pass on. I've ordered mine from fasttech, and it says dispatch on 30 jan so I've got a looooong wait ahead.

I use this with my iStick and it's great: www.vapor-freak.de/XploraIt may look like an outlay, but it's a quality atty - a great mini dripper and a wonderful 16mm filler atty with outstanding flavour.. A spheroid would do the same job, albeit with a tighter draw. Brand new would be pricey but you might be able to pick one up in the classifieds. I've been thinking about getting this with my next fasttech order: www.fasttech.com/products/1996900Erl nano, very short but a little fat for CC I would think. |

Great result today - and what a game to watch! I didn't rate Harry Kane at all at the start of the season, I liked him but could not in my wildest dreams hope he'd come in as far as he has in a few months.
Maybe me taking over spurs in the sweepstake was a turning point in our season!

@john2k5 - can you confirm that the fire of life mod is 23mm? If it's 22mm, is it 20x1 threading like the tree of life? Not that I need any more 20x1 tubes, but it does look nice should it work with my atties of choice. Threading is 21x1 (Chi-you threading) rather than 20x1 and it's definitely 23mm. If it's a product that you want, then just get it because you won't be happy with anything else as you will always be comparing it to your perception of the one you really want. Plus if it's hard to find, it'll hold it's value in the second hand market.
I'm sure many people have bought from the place you mention without issues, but if course it is a risk if you do have a problem.
However, there are atties in the price range you mention - some are superb, but less well known than kayfuns / taifuns etc.
I've not kept up with recent releases, but how about an Expromizer? Last I checked the genuines were £50 direct from Germany, and combines all the benefits of taifuns and kayfuns. It's been cloned if you want to try it cheaply, which will also reduce the price of second hand genuines.
There are probably plenty of others - the troy X, the Aiolos (16mm) but they can be tough to track down.

Small update after Xmas - my vaping present was an istick. I also got a lightbox for my camera, so thought I'd take a couple of photos. The infinity drops need an iron, and I need a lot of practice, but it should (eventually) improve my vaping photography no end...
