Agreed erik514 - as a former smoker of roll-ups, I like the tinkering and the maintenance that comes with my rebuildables. As the vape is so good, it's definitely worth a look for anyone considering a kit. Different strokes for different folks, I'm sure he will shift a few!

Seems like a nice clearo, and a good way into vaping. Changing cotton doesn't take much, but it does need a little practice - often when people are starting, they just want something that works without any faffing. I'm not sure if this will appeal to that market.

For strong flavours like the coffee, you'll probably need to change the coil when changing juice or you'll get a tainted flavour.
For cleaning, you can just take it apart and wash it. I leave my bits to soak for about an hour in hot water and washing up liquid, rinse it off and dry with kitchen roll then air dry for 24 hours - this includes the coil. You can just rinse everything out, but make sure the wick is completely dry before trying to use it again.
You may be better off getting a few tanks to let you have a few juices on the go.

Seems a strange one - there's no hint of it in his recent posts that I can see. His absence will be a big loss to the forum.

www.modsandatties.com/en/home/35-the-russian-91-v2-plus.html...but their server seems to be down at the mo. They also sell other kayfun clones. Other places like vapegeek have cloned attys, but none in stock at present. Of course, you could go of the real deal - a kfl+ is in stock at cloud9vaping for around £70 posted.

Smokeyjo75 - if you're buying premixed, you don't really need to steep t-juice. Vape the jack the ripple ASAP as it gets a bit savoury as it ages. I like strawberri very much - there's a thread with various t-juice reviews I've written here. Remember that these are just my opinions - juice is so subjective! I have a really sweet tooth, so bear that in mind...

Get yourself the snapseed app for the ipad aaron - it'll do all sorts of funky things to your pics if you like, but it'll also rotate them as needed. It's come out like that because you had the rotation lock on when taking the pic. Lovely collection of shinies there

Hmm, sounds like a short on the coil, not the MVP.
Not sure why it would need to be loose to fire - if I have a problem with my MVP, it always the opposite! Let's come back to this.
If the juice is tasting burnt, it's not likely to be the battery. It's likely that the coil isn't getting enough juice through the wick. In my experience, the Kanger coils are if varying quality, and some of them aren't made very well. It may be that you've got a dodgy one. The coil doesn't burn juice, it vaporises it - at a higher wattage, it vaporises it quicker which means the juice has to flow quicker through the wick to keep up. The MVP only goes to 11w, this isn't particularly high. So my suggestion is try another coil!
The 0.9 ohms suggests a short on one of the coils in the protank 3. Again, likely to be a dodgy coil, and needs changing. Do you have a different device that reads resistance to check it?
This is the problem with these coils - varying quality in the production process, means you get a few badly made ones. In a way, it's why the single coils are better because they are easy to remake yourself. Just my onion!
Now the protank fitting issue - see if it's better when a new coil is in. If not, check the pin on the bottom of the unit is in properly.

Sorry to go off topic in your thread manicmedic, but chrisjw - that's the 3.1 clone. Don't worry about it, because despite the extra height (about 8mm) it's a fantastic atty, and the hcigar clone is very high quality. I love mine. You will need to top fill or use a needle bottle. Back on topic, I'm still not sure that hcigar do a kfl clone - they seem to be tobeco or ehpro.

I bought my mum a starter kit and put them in a sparkly zip purse from Accesorize. It held two 650mah batteries, two clearos, a 20ml bottle and a USB charger cable, but not the wall adapter.
I use a little drawstring bag, but I tend to only carry a nemesis/kayfun combo, and it's just to prevent scratches. In my work manbag I have the little case that my kayfun clone came in, that carries a spare battery, backup iclear and a 10ml bottle of juice. I don't think that they would work for you, but might for others!
