Hi, When I first started mixing I made up 10 5ml bottles, one of each pg/vg. 90/10, 80/20, 70/30 etc. I settled on 50/50 in the end. I think it's down to personal taste in the end. With some vendors you would be lucky to get 250ml of 18mg/ml for that price. I have just paid slightly less, but yours is still a good deal. You really do get your juice at a much better price with diy, and you get to control the strength of flavour and nicotine. I find it real easy to drop by 1-2mg per month. Have you bought your pg and vg yet? I've got 200ml in the fridge so I will have to get some more.

We always shop within our means for food and pressies. This way we know everything we can afford is paid for. If family are offended then it's a case of tough S**t. We will not have to worry about paying for things we could not afford, especially now that I am less than a year from going on to a pension.
Good luck to those that spend now, worry later. Live within your means and you will not go far wrong.

Hi
I have just ordered 250ml of 7.2 nic based VG for under £30. Is this a good deal? If my calculations are correct I can add 750ml of glycerin and I will have 1 litre of unflavoured nic based glycerin at 1.8 mg which I can add flavour to and vape on the cheap for months. That's around the same price as about 6 packets of cigarettes plus concentrate, if I am right.
Which is best? 50 - 50 PG/VG or 80 - 20? I like a good amount of vapour and a good throat hit.
I am currently using a vv set to 5v and an I30 atty which I find very good on pre-mixed liquids.
Your advice will be appreciated as I am not in to mixing as yet.

Seven months vaping with no problems at all, I don't think it has anything to do with this. Sounds like a comment from a person that doesn't know anything about vaping and was looking for an answer.

Hi
My son (a vaper for over 2 years) was teaching me how to coil an AGA T, the earlier type with nuts rather than the thumb screw on the more recent ones, and during trying to cure the hot spots the battery started playing up. It was a VV adjusted on the fire button with the battery life shown on a segment scale at the bottom of the battery. Everything was flashing with the atty connected, unscrew the atty it it stopped flashing but the battery was dead.
Was this a one off or can you stuff batteries curing hot spots? The battery was quite new. I am thinking of investing in a coil station to protect vaping gear. I have enough e-cig bits now to consider building one.

Congratulations on two things, first on your forth coming baby, enjoy every minute because they grow up so quickly, the second is finding the best, most friendliest vape forum on the internet.

Ross every vape is one cigarette you haven't had. It never was a race to totally stop smoking. There is probably something missing from your vape, same old taste, throat hit not strong enough or something. Definitely do not apologise for smoking, we have all done it, just experiment and find what's missing. I very often feel like a cigarette but after a triple bypass my wife would kill me before the cigarettes could.

A good idea that I imagine a few people have thought about but you are the first to publish one. I have thought about a combined ohm meter and coiling station, both jobs in one box so to speak. The AGA T seems to be the main atty with a problem with hot spots so would it worth it?
Perhaps this could be your next project; there could be a market for it.

My spinner only goes to 4.3v, would this be enough? 5v - 6v gives a better vape for me.

My daughter has decided to start vaping in the new year and wants a half decent ecig to start her off. I have recommended a VAMO V5 kit that costs £50. Is this a decent choice? I started with 650ma batteries and clearos and spent rather a lot on money to get where I am now, trying different batteries, clearos and attys.
I think that if she can take to it then this kit should be OK until she catches the shiney bug.
Does anyone have a better suggestion?

Heya, It's certainly possible. I've already done it before but sadly with the one airhole you don't get much direct air on both coils (maybe you can drill a second airhole). Thanks for your reply, not sure if I want drill another hole though. Project for the future perhaps.

Hi
I keep seeing posts regards Kicks; I assume it is some kind of power booster. Can someone explain more about them for me please?
Technology is definitely for people younger than me.
Thanks in advance.
