Here is my comment just added to the site (as far as McAvans' nomination goes, well words just fail me)
‘A switch of only 1% of smokers a year from smoking to less harmful nicotine sources, a conservative target, could save around 60,000 lives in only 10 years. Cancer Research UK calls for pure nicotine products (and other cessation products) to be more affordable, attractive and available (e.g. sold over the counter) and for tobacco products to be less affordable, attractive and available’ How strange, this is from CRUKs Policy Statement, easy to find via Google. This must only refer to Pharma products though, as CRUK are jumping up and down and patting themselves on the back over the major restrictions being introduced for ecigs. How hypocritcal is it possible for them to be? How about this from the same statement? ‘More attractive and efficient pure nicotine products which contain only nicotine and not any other tobacco constituents are needed for heavily addicted smokers, in particular the most disadvantaged, to relieve their cravings without the harmful effects of smoking.‘ I guess these products are only worth supporting if the manufacturers provide you with a few £100,000 to play with!

Ooooh, yes, I like Hopefully it will be a while before a UK vendor gets these in. That way I can decide which one I like best, cos at the moment I can't make up my mind between the pink, purple or lime green, they're all lovely

It has been in the Metro today - full page - what more than the little skull for poison - even if it's not the right size - it's still there and the owner knows it - do they need ? - and as much as I know it's actually 'only' the nicotine which is highly poisonous tragic accidents can happen - even that the bottle dropped to the floor and he did not notice it - but don't blame e-liquids and stain the life of vapers Found the Metro article while on my lunchbreak today and was so incensed by the ridiculous reporting I couldn't help myself and left a comment on their website. The story is tragic, it was a horrible end for that poor puppy. Without a doubt the owner should have been much more vigilant and it should never have been a full page story (unless there's an ulterior motive behind it) Did you notice the supposed information that stated 'e-cigarettes contain a mixture of nicotine with other toxic chemicals.' That made my blood boil too, grrr. I so wish these reporters would do a bit of research and get their facts straight before they submit their bullpoo articles Sorry for the rant!

I bought a black chrome Vamo v2 not long after release, it looks pretty sad these days and has had a centre pin fix, but it's still going strong (though only at home, poor ugly thing!) Followed up with an ss v2 a few months after that which is still in my regular rotation. In fact till I got a kick for my K100 it was in use every day. I've never had a spot of trouble with it, it's been faultless Got another ss v2 for hubby when he started vaping last May. Now I have to say hubs is quite a juggler (butterfingers ) and that poor Vamo has probably been dropped more times than I can remember, but it's still running absolutely fine, although the 510 connector is getting a bit picky about what it'll accept. To be fair that's probably got more to do with the number of times it's been under the settee/fridge/car (you get my drift!)

That's a great idea, I hadn't even considered using mine for that. I usually just chuck 'em in pg and swish the bottle under the hot tap for ages

Doh! Just looked again and realised the one you suggested ginge7289 is actually an HOL one, it's early and I've not had any caffeine! Edit: and the combination of no/little caffeine and stupid tablet = rubbish tagging! Sorry

Wow, thanks, great suggestions there In fact, Perpetua, effington and@ginge7289, you've all reminded me I picked up a tester of DV Cafe Brasiliano at Vapefest! I'd put it in my vaping cupboard, went on holiday a couple of weeks later and completely forgot about it I've just slung a quick coil on my octopus and I'm vaping on it now, nice.......aaaaaaaah coffee! dreamylittledream thanks for the Java Juice suggestion. I'd seen it on the T-Juice site the last time I ordered some concentrates and was tempted. Think I'll get some the next time I put an order in Thanks folks, my tummy says thanks too!

I really need some help from you good folks I've just been diagnosed with a haital hernia with acid reflux My doc suggested I completely give up my (many) cups of strong, hot black coffee. Not easy, I promise you! I've spent the last week desperately fighting off horrible headaches, whilst trying to find a vaguely acceptable substitute for my first coffee of the day (I've settled on chai for now) Problem is I'm really missing my coffee (been caught inhaling lungfuls of steam from my friends cup at work) Can anyone please suggest a good basic coffee flavour juice? I tried a couple a while ago and thought they were horrid.
I'm desperate for the taste of coffee, please help me

Hi irenevork81I really identify with the above. I started my vaping journey a couple of years ago and even though my hubby saw the obvious benefits to switching, he took a long time to even try vaping. I had to be very patient with him as I knew if he felt pressured by me he would dig his heels in! There are a lot of smokers who feel under pressure to quit from so many different angles that their reaction is to do the opposite. Eventually he made the decision for himself and he's now very happy not to be a slave to tobacco. I really believe this needs to be your husbands choice, with some gentle persuasion from you Hope I haven't offended charlie

I went to Turkey this year through Gatwick. There were 4 of us all together, each with different kit in our hand luggage. All of us put our preferred kit including clearos straight into the trays, with mobiles, keys etc. Our extra juice went in clear bags, no-one batted an eye. I think the guys working on the x-ray machines must have seen pretty much every mod out there by now We also found a quiet corner once we were in the departure lounge where there were already a group of girls vaping. They'd asked and were told there was no problem having a vape there.

Hi All I'm thinking it's time to introduce myself after spending much too long lurking here! I've been vaping now for quite some time, although I did have more than a few false starts and ended up back on the cigs. I eventually progressed to dual fuelling and managed to cut my ciggies right down, I even had days here and there when I didn't smoke at all. Then in May this year my hubby decided he'd give vaping a try and EUREKA! I haven't smoked since My kit includes a Vamo V2, an MVP V1, and I've just had a couple of 'inexpensive' mech mods delivered from FT. I tend to use Iclear 16s and 30s at work, and I've got a few drippers for use while I'm relaxing. My older kit of twists and evods have now been 'handed down' to my step-daughter and her boyfriend! I've got a pretty large ejuice collection, some ready-made and some homemade, and I'm constantly swapping my flavours around.
Hopefully I'll be able to pass on some of my experience to new vapers here and it may go a small way to thank you for all the info I've gleaned from you lovely peeps since I started lurking here
Speak soon charlieb
