Like your friend I also tried champix and thought I could have the odd fag at the same time. Needless to say it didn't work and I ended up smoking again. If it was my friend I would encourage them to stop the champix and buy an ecig of some kind. For me vaping is the complete answer. All the good bits of smoking but much better flavours and negligible health risks. Yes you did absolutely the right thing

I understand that but they must have some similarities with the ceramic cup etc, is it also built with no res wire?

All I've seen of it is the reviews and I think it looks really good. It's definitely one I wll Ike to have sometime but it's GGTS or just GG first. After finally getting myself an ithaka I need something for it to sit on first imeothanasis would I be right in thinking that the iatty works in a similar way to ithaka but is 21 mm diameter with no flow control?

To be honest a lot of vape gear gets that reaction from me. Fancy paying 50 squids for a tiny glass tube with a tiny bit of stainless steel and a few o rings? The cage by leo fits the bill. No matter how much it is dressed up there are more than a few people laughing all the way to the bank and kanthal costing as much as that puts it in the same category in my view.

chill36I don't know anything about the batteries you mentioned but usually higher mah means lower current. If I were you I would get some sonys. Myepack stock them and are just a few quid each. Well worth it in my opinion as it's one less thing to worry about. The intellicharger is great, a lot of people on here use the same one

A good quality 30 amp battery like a Sony VTC4 or VTC5 will be ok with far more than 15 amps. It's 30 amp rating is measured for continuous draw which means that you could have a 0.14 ohm coil and hold the button down until you drain your battery. You would however have a badly burned hand as this generates roughly 120 watts of power in your tiny atomiser coil. Most people use coils with about 1 ohm to 1.5 ohms which is only 2.8 to about 4 amps, and even sub ohm cloud chasing at 0.3 ohms only uses 14 amps. I'm not saying you don't need to be careful, or that nothing could go wrong because care is needed, and things do occasionally go wrong. Buy good quality batteries, Look after them - don't over discharge them and don't over charge them Use a good quality charger Don't use batteries with any damage or signs of wear and tear. They aren't very expensive, dispose of old or damaged ones and buy new ones
A 30 amp battery will be as safe as any lithium cell can be right down to a resistance where the only people who are vaping are the same people who think playing in traffic is good family fun.

Make sure the air holes line up with your coils and you get the flavour without tearing your throat out.

Don't worry about it really. I've had a few flights to different European countries lately and had no problem. Most of the time they don't even ask any questions, I suppose vaping is getting more common these days so airport security know what they are looking at

Just wondering if there's any news about when ithaka will be for sale again? They are really difficult to get hold of and I don't want to miss out

djs, just put batts back in zmax as baby is up and dont want to play wit locking rings with her around. the main thing i think i need to master is when to change batts so going to be ignoring my screen on the zmax and see if i can tell when its going You'll definitely know when it's time to change your battery. I find anything less than around 3.5 volts and the flavour isn't there and there's much less vapour. Basically if you have a setup that was really good an hour ago and isn't much use anymore it's time for a fresh battery. Use your zmax to see the charge on your batteries before you put them on charge and they will probably still show 3.4 to 3.6. Try aiming for between 1 ohm and 1.3 sometime. Personally I find that's where my kayfun is best.

Both will be good mods. It really comes down to choosing the one that fits your budget best and that you think looks better
