I've been on the Shetland ferry many times and can safely say that's not one of them. That's onboard a cruise ship called Pacific Sun during a tropical storm.

Thank you ionian that helps. I am using protank 3's, currently awaiting the aerotank, can that be bettered? I am not a fan of top coils. So i would need a specific kick for the wattage I want? where can i get further info about that set up, for example the nemesis with a kick and what i should and shouldnt be doing? You would want either a kick or kick 2. For the power you want to use I wouldn't bother getting a kick 2. The original will supply more than enough power. All you do is pop it in the tube on top of your battery, turn the adjustment screw to suit the power you want, put your atomiser on top and vape away. Live never used an aerotank bit have had a protank3 and thought it was tasteless. No matter what juice I had in it it all tasted dull. The iclear 30 is much better, but best of all would be your kayfun once you master the microcoils

You probably won't get the best flavour straight away. I find it takes about half a tank to get the taste right.

If you put some juice on the wick when you build it it's more or less ready to vape. Cover the air hole with your finger and dry pull a couple of times and that helps soak them. No waiting needed

what kanthal do you lot use? and my first one didnt turn out good lol I use .25 for my kayfun. 5 turns around 0.2 ekowool for 1.2 ohm. My first one was a disaster. Keep at it though as it's an awesome vape when you get it right

Yep just a tube with a battery in it. They will work fine with springs instead of magnets. All the magnets do is make the switch a bit smoother. A kick isn't essential either, all you really need is the mod, whatever atomiser you want and a good quality battery. An ohm meter is useful for checking resistances if you are rebuilding yourself but not essential if you have a vv/vw that can do it. A kick does give you a constant vape and stops your battery being discharged too low but it adds a few millimeters to the length of your mod.

Most mechs will be like that. My nemesis isn't much different in 18650 than my vamo is in 18350. Mechs tend to be slimmer also.

Don't throw them down the sink this time. It's surprising how much they change sometimes with time. I've had some terrible mixes that have turned out to be not so bad with a steep. Or stick some mint or menthol in them

Try 10% flavourart banana and 15% t-juice colonel custard with 1% sweetener. It benefits from a steep for a few weeks, the longer the better. Another nice one is basically the same as above with FA caramel instead of banana

I would go for the ZNA from house of hybrids. It's a dna 30 chip in a really smart looking mod. About £200 I think but rarer than shark feathers and only 5000 will be made. Hana mods do a dna 30 box mod that might be worth a look also.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. Spent the day way up north of Shetland staring at the sea so had more fun birthdays. Home next week though so will definitely make up for it then

Hehe, just found out the formula for calculating the ohms when recoiling dual coil heads, and it is easy peasy to work out Ok, all you do is this: Example: Using 2 x 2.50 ohm coils Formula: 2.50 + 2.50 = 5 divided by 4 = 1.25 ohms How easy is that. I had no idea how to work it out but now I do, and hopefully this will help anyone else out like me starting to rebuild their dual coils I've got ready made ones coming from FT so I thought I'd better find out how to actually work it all out for myself, instead of relying on other people to tell me which ones to get. I also know a few of us on here have just started to buy these ready-made coils and some of us will be re-coiling dual coil heads. It's the right answer but just divide the resistance of the coil by 2. Each coil is 2.5 so 2.5/2=1.25
