So does that mean my batty will work better or worse with LR? I don't like the idea of it being hotter - the carto already gets quiet hot with chain vaping! Am I better with LR or dual coil? Cheers Hi pada, Your battery will work fine with LR Boge or Kanger cartos, and I'd definitely recommend you give 'em a try. I started with SR cartos on me Riva (similar to an Ego but runs at a slightly higher voltage), but after trying LR cartos I'd never go back to SR. LR run a bit hotter than SR, so (assuming the same draw time) you'll get more vapour, TH and flavour. That said, because LR give you more of everything, you may find that you only need shorter draws, and don't need to chain vape so much. I suggest you get a pack of each (Boge and Kanger) and give them a try, both are great. And if you don't like 'em stick 'em in the classies and they'll disappear in no time guaranteed Hope that helps, John

Just been having a bit of a clearout and stumbled across this stuff. I have: 1 x Innokin 510-T kit, brand new in box. Never used. Won it in a comp Perps ran a while back, but never used it as I discovered LR cartos at about the same time, and was instantly converted. So this little chap has just been sat in it's box all sad and lonely like (sorry Perps ). Link to pics and contents here: www.vapeescape.co.uk/boge-innokin-510-t-mini-tank~2211 x 510 manual usb passthru from C9V. Used a couple of times, but as new condition. Performs pretty much like a Riva. It's this one: www.cloud9vaping.co.uk/epages/yxve46fvrnud.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/yxve46fvrnud/Products/51059-S2 x 510 SR atties and a box of carts to go along with them. They're the ones that came with me Riva kit (SLB). One of the atties is still new in plastic wrapper, the other has been used once in me one and only (unsuccessful ) dripping experiment, boil washed it and been gathering dust since. Ideal swap for me would just be a bunch of LR Kanger or Boge cartos to use on me Riva. Open to offers though. Cheers, John

I think this one's pretty apt... "A bargain is something you don’t need at a price you can’t resist."

Oooo, dang, that looks tasty. Easier on the eye than the LT IMO. I like that it comes with the 'shorty' version as well. Successfully resisted the LT craze, but I can feel me will power weakening with this thing John P.S. ... gotta say it... "Is that a HOWITZER in yer pocket, or are ya just pleased to see me?!" Arf

@ Dee (& Anne), Before getting stuck in soldering / gluing etc, and assuming you purchased from a UK supplier within the last 6 months, it might be worth considering contacting the supplier for repair / replacement. So long as the equipment failure isn't down to misuse or damage caused by you, then fixing the prob is up to them. See this link: www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/consumer-rights-refunds-exchange#goodsQuote from one of the relevant paras: Since 2003, consumers have had extra benefit from The Sale and Supply of Goods to Consumers Regulations.
When goods are faulty, if you return them within six months then it's up to the shop to prove they weren't faulty when you bought them. After this, the 'burden of proof' shifts and it's up to you to prove they were faulty when you bought them. Maybe the way to go? John Edit - dang spelling mistales

Actually - am i right in thinking that if looking down at the filler and i see a thin black cable running from the centre of the air pipe and down the side of the filler this denotes a dual coil? My boge cartos have this cable but it wasn't mentioned in the description when i bought them, yet my other non branded cartos don't have this? Or is it a quality standard of boge? Hi Gizmo, Nah, all Boge's are like that. The coil in a Boge is vertically positioned at the base of the central air tube, so a short wire runs from one terminal up to the bottom of the coil, and the wire you can see is the one that runs from the top of the coil up over the tube and back down to the other terminal. For your unbranded ones, it's poss that they're bottom coil cartos, in which case the coils are positioned horizontally across the base of the air tube. So the wires attached to the terminals are much shorter and don't have to travel all the way up and over so to speak. Kanger cartos are of this type. Hope that makes some kind of sense John P.S. Just noticed your question re testing yer batt voltage. There's an excellent little 'how to' here: www.cloud9vaping.co.uk/Meter

Hi Womble, Essentially it's attempting to stop legislation that would enable a select group of rich corporations and governments to in effect 'censor' the internet. Supposedly to counter piracy and fraud, but casting such a wide net that it will inevitably impact free speech and democratic freedoms imo. There's a huge stink about it, and rightly so imo. Cheers, John I see the piracy and fraud in the legislation, but tbh, I don't see the rest. Show me the bit that will impact free speech and democratic freedoms and I will sign in a heartbeat. Hi Womble, For a couple of examples follow the 3rd link that I provided above (What's Wrong With ACTA), and then on tha page that you're taken to try the 1st & 2nd links (titled 'ACTA and its Impact on Fundamental Rights' and 'ACTA - Criminal Sanctions'). They're pretty explicit re the probs with this. Hope that helps, John
