mikemichelle, making coils involves, knowledge, dexterity, good eye sight, equipment and determination. Not everyone wants/ are able to coil themselves so the unicoil provides for that market. I don't think they are better than home made in all circumstances. Probably better than my coils though

I would add that the depressing of the centre pin can be caused by screwing the tank or adapter into the battery too firmly. This may not be the case here, but this commonly is a weakness of batteries.
I've done it myself, you just need to make a connection that leaves your tank stable. Probably half a turn less then can be achieved with a firm hand.

danliddle look at step 3 on tom's guide. You are wraping your wire around a drill bit/screw drivier to make your coil, each full circle is a wrap and you are using the coil calculator to tell you how many wraps you need to get your desired ohm like Clivia has above. I would recommend you use A1 kanthal wire, see link to different sizes, In the uk we use mm for the wire sizes US use AWG. So we say .3 meaning 0.3mm size wire.

What tanks are you using now danliddle? I started rebuiding my kanger clearo's first, saves money and gives a much better flavour. I then moved onto rebuildables.

Can I suggest you screw the coil back in firmly as this might have been why it was not closing and not connecting with the battery.
When filling I often just check the coil hasn't loosened when I opened the tank.

tooly, I just wanted to add the when you screw the tank back together all parts should sit flush.ie no gap. Perhaps there is something wrong with the threading. I'm not certain that buying just another battery will work if your tank is faulty. Do you know anyone else that vapes locally who could have a look? Perhaps you should speak to the vendor about your tank.

isaacbale94, I started on similar kit, worked fine to get me off the roll ups, this is a friendly helpful forum that will answer any questions you have when you get your kit. These are the replacement heads I think you will need for your kit link

I'd see how you go firewall kayfun's are quite an intense vape for me so I find droping down to 12-15mg helpful. Still use 18-20mg in my kanger tanks

That's quite normal to have 2/3 threads showing on the central post within the glass tank, if it is a mini protank 2. Glad you have something to vape on.
Have you tried the mini protank on another battery?
TIP It's best to start a new thread in the begginner's section with a tittle eg help mini protank 2 problem! More people will see it etc.
